วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง “เทศกาลละครกรุงเทพ Bangkok Theater Festival นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา ความเป็นมาและรูปแบบการแสดงของงานเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพ ผู้วิจัยศึกษาข้อมูลจาก เอกสาร สัมภาษณ์ การสังเกตการณ์และเข้าร่วมเป็นจิตอาสาในงานเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพ ในปีพ.ศ. 2562 ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาพบว่า เทศกาลละครกรุงเทพเป็นงานชุมนุมการแสดง โดยคณะละครและกลุ่มการแสดงต่าง ๆ ของคนรุ่นใหม่ในพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร เกิดจากการรวมตัวของกลุ่มละครได้ 10 กลุ่ม เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายทำให้เกิดเป็น เครือข่ายละครกรุงเทพ รวมถึงการเชื่อมโยงกลุ่มบุคคลต่าง ๆ กลุ่มคณะละคร กลุ่มศิลปินอิสระ กลุ่มอาจารย์ด้านการแสดงหลากหลายแขนง และรวมถึงกลุ่มนิสิต นักศึกษา จัดขึ้นปีละ 1 ครั้ง เริ่มจากปีพ.ศ. 2545 จนถึงปัจจุบัน รวมเป็น 18 ปี ความโดดเด่นของเทศกาลละครคือ การจัดงานเป็นประจำปีทุกปี ช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน มีความต่อเนื่องเป็นประจำ จึงทำให้เห็นถึงความสม่ำเสมอของการจัดงานเทศกาล การทำงานของงานเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพ ทำให้เกิดพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์และพื้นที่ในการสร้างงานผ่านศิลปะการละคร รวมไปถึงศิลปะการแสดงในหลากหลายแขนง เทศกาลละครกรุงเทพเป็นเหมือนพื้นที่ให้กับกลุ่มคนทำละคร ได้มีพื้นที่ในการสร้างงานละคร และการแสดงต่าง ๆ เนื่องจากเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพเปิดรับกลุ่มงานแสดงทุกประเภท ไม่ปิดกั้น จึงทำให้งานแต่ละชิ้นงานของศิลปินมีความหลากหลาย ผลิตงานละครและงานศิลปะให้มีเอกลักษณ์ที่ชัดเจนเพื่อสร้างความโดดเด่นและความแตกต่าง จึงส่งผลให้เทศกาลละครกรุงเทพเป็นที่น่าสนใจในกลุ่มคนทำละคร และกลุ่มละครที่ต้องการอยากจะทดลองทำงานได้เข้ามาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานผ่านงานเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพ เอกลักษณ์เฉพาะของเทศกาลคือมีรูปแบบที่เป็นของตนเอง เป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งที่มีตัวเลือกของงานละครและงานสร้างสรรค์ต่าง ๆ ให้ผู้ชมได้เลือกได้ด้วยตนเอง มีการขยายพื้นที่ จัดแสดงตามร้านอาหาร โรงละครในกรุงเทพมหานคร ทำให้เกิดการขยายฐานคนดูให้เพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยต้องการให้เทศกาลละคร สร้างตัวตนและงานละครให้มีการเติบโตกว้างขวาง รวมถึงเป็นกิจกรรมที่สำคัญที่ทำให้งานละครเข้ากับกลุ่มละครและผู้ชม พัฒนาศักยภาพของศิลปินการละครร่วมสมัยให้เกิดความยั่งยืนขยายพื้นที่การแสดงด้านศิลปะการละครร่วมสมัย ให้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งทั่วกรุงเทพมหานคร

Since 1946, many clowns have recorded their makeup by having it painted on eggs that are kept in a central registry in Wookey Hole, England. This tradition, which continues today, has been referred to alternately as a form of informal copyright registration and a means of protecting clowns’ property in their personae. This Article explores the Clown Egg Register and its surrounding practices from the perspective of law and social norms. In so doing, it makes several contributions. The traditional notion of the Male Gaze, first conceptualized by feminist film critic Laura Mulvey in 1975, focused on the objectification of women through depictions structured to gratify a male heterosexual perspective. In this chapter we will revisit this concept and investigate how that gaze may have shifted away from a primarily heterosexual perspective to a socially dominant male perspective (maleness here referring to dominance rather than specific gender, just as “whiteness” might refer to privilege rather than race). This paper delves into the life and career of Jean-Étienne Despréaux (1748-1820), as read through a catalogue of his library. The catalogue, the earliest known detailed record of books owned by a dancing master, was printed after Despréaux’s death to announce the sale of his library in a 3-day auction. It reveals Despréaux’s wide-ranging reading interests and his desire to build a comprehensive collection of books about dance—a collection that would anticipate the modern notion of a canon of historical dance monuments. Importance: Social support is a major determinant of health for geriatric oncology patients. Nevertheless, no DMT program utilizes community building as an explicit focus of intervention.

Objective: To design a DMT that fosters a therapeutic approach which relies as much on the interpersonal relationships as on the intrapersonal journey. Design, setting, participants: 12 weeks observational trial of participants, from TJUH geriatric oncology patient population, as they progressed through two series of social dance workshops. This research project titled Dancing Elements explores choreographic conversations between the body and natural elements, specifically water on film. I question how natural elements when viewed in relation to the dancing body, can begin to be seen as a dancing entity. Who Is Paying For God: A Thematic Analysis Of Henry Arthur Jones's Religious Plays In Relation To The Modernist Trend, Jay Tyler Sharma

This thesis project argues for the value of Henry Arthur Jones’s work in the late 1890s and seeks to illustrate that Jones’s contribution to the larger Modernist movement in the theatre. Using a close textual analysis of Jones’s plays Michael and His Lost Angel, Judah, and Saints and Sinners, this project examines Jones’s use of popular theatrical genres to provide commentary on the religious and fiscal tensions in the surrounding Victorian society.
