In general, this study was conducted to discuss about a classically trained singers in pop singing among professional singers in Malaysia. Therefore, this study is limited only to classically trained singers in singing modern pop’s genre based on vocal techniques and vocal health. The respondents consisted of 5 Malaysian singers who are well trained classically and have experienced in both education and music industry singing pop songs. As a native of Slovakia, Dr. Kemble has always been inspired by the cultural and mesmerizing aspects of music, especially when it comes to chamber music. A versatile performer, Aleksandra holds flute-teaching positions at Andrew’s University (MI), Indiana’s University of South Bend (IN), Goshen College (IN), and St. Mary’s College (IN) and is the principal flutist of the Elkhart Symphony (IN). Aleksandra received her Master’s Degree from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland, and her Doctor of Arts Degree in flute performance from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Although modern remembrances in the fields of literature, theatre, poetry, and the visual arts have received considerable scholarly attention in Ireland since the publication of History and Memory in Modern Ireland in 2001, similar activities in an Irish art music context remain unexplored. This thesis addresses this lacuna in examining how the contemporary Irish composers Donnacha Dennehy (b. 1970) and Jennifer Walshe (b. 1974) have remembered, reimagined, and reinvented the past to communicate their positions on Irish history and modern Irish society, as well as to respond to recent historical and curatorial practices. Dr. Austin Jaquith is a critically acclaimed composer whose repertoire “runs the gamut from scoring for visual media to composing instrumental and vocal works in the contemporary classical genre.”1 He has contributed to the repertory of the clarinet by offering three works, Rhapsody for Clarinet and Piano, Ballad for Clarinet Solo, and Mediation…Separation…for Clarinet and Piano.
