This report details the results of an intensive archaeological survey by SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) for the proposed El Paso Natural Gas Project: Texas Gas Service Line Expansion Lateral and Meter Station. El Paso Natural Gas (EPNG), a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) is proposing to extend the existing Line No. 20121 approximately 3.59 miles, install the Transmountain Delivery Meter Station (TDMS), and install a new pressure regulating station in order to supply Texas Gas Service Company with additional natural gas. On January 15, 2015, archeologists from Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Environmental Affairs Division-Archeological Studies Branch conducted a reconnaissancelevel survey of 3 acres of a five acre tract adjacent to State Highway 317 in Bell County, north of the City of Belton. The property will be excavated for a stormwater retention pond. The survey found shallow rocky soils and exposures of limestone bedrock throughout the project area. Historic maps indicated a house structure with the project area. No standing structures remain on the property; there is the remains of a collapsed shed-like structure measuring 5-x5 meters, a collapsed smaller pen-like …

On February 19 and 25, 2015, Energy Renewal Partners, LLC (Energy Renewal) carried out an intensive pedestrian survey on a proposed portion of the Los Vientos IV Wind Energy Project site located on Texas General Land Office (GLO) land. Brandon Richards served as the Principal Investigator, and was aided by Jennifer Klingshirn. Impacts to all three sites are anticipated as a result of planned mine development. This work was conducted under the direction of Principal Investigator David L. Sherman. An intensive archeological survey was completed in order to inventory and evaluate archeological resources within the footprint of improvements to Farm-to-Market (FM) 2001 in Hays and Caldwell Counties, Texas. The archeological area of potential effects (APE) totals 8.5 miles (13.7 kilometers), extending from the intersection of Interstate Highway 35 (I-35) and FM 2001 to just east of State Highway (SH) 21 (CSJ 1776-01-018). The Area of Potential Effects (APE) is approximately 3.24 miles in length within a 50-foot Right-ofWay (ROW). (Goshawk) conducted a cultural resources survey of the proposed ±28,000-foot (±8,534-meter [m]) Naylor Jones Unit 13 Block A Gathering Pipeline right-of-way (ROW) in McMullen County, Texas, at the request of EOG Resources, Inc. (EOG). The Area of Potential Effect (APE) consisted of a proposed ROW measuring 75 feet (23 m) in width which crossed a first-order tributary of Muerto Creek, the Frio River, and the Mossy Slough. On October 28, archeologists from POWER Engineers, Inc. (POWER) conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed Long Road electrical substation project (Project) in Denton County, Texas. The survey was undertaken on behalf of Denton Municipal Electric (DME) for a proposed substation facility that will connect with the existing Texas Municipal Power Agency 138 kV transmission line extending from the Denton North Interchange to the Arco Substation. No archeological materials were recorded as a result of the survey.

In July and August of 2014, under Texas Antiquities Permit #6914, Hicks & Company completed an intensive archeological survey of the Alazan Creek and Martinez Creek Hike and Bike Trail Improvements Project in Bexar County, Texas. Since construction of the new trails and park improvements will take place on land to be owned by the City of San Antonio, it is subject to the Antiquities Code of Texas.
