Conceived at the Library Publishing Forum in 2017, the Ethical Framework for Library Publishing was a first-of-its-kind document for the LPC and the library publishing community. But remarkable social upheaval in the ensuing years, along with the continued maturation of our discipline, prompted the LPC to convene a task force to update the Framework for our current environment. What the task force developed, to our surprise, looks very little like the original document. Are electronic reference books visible in academic libraries? A survey administered to librarians at colleges and universities in the southern United States is used to ascertain the presence and promotion of electronic reference books in academic libraries. Findings reveal that electronic reference books are not as visible in academic libraries (both online and in library buildings) as traditional print reference is. Librarians surveyed indicate they promote electronic reference books more than print reference books. Since the Internet era began, numerous earth science data services have been developed to facilitate data discovery (for example, data sources, documents, facts, visualization, opinions) and data access for research and application activities. Apart from the regular collection and services, libraries also need to focus on providing resources for competitive exams, as they help students prepare for various competitive exams and enhance their employability skills. This study focused on a specific population of competitive exam aspirants who use the Yogi Vemana University Library competitive exam section. Purpose: The purpose of the present work was Altmetrics study of research outputs in the field of social and behavioral sciences in major Iranian universities during 2010-2020.

Methodology: The research outputs of the thematic domains of social and behavior of sciences major Iranian universities indexed in the Scopus database were reviewed. This applied research was conducted with a Altmetrics approach. Scopus and Altmetrics Explorer databases were used to collect data. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests in Excel software.

This study aims to understand the perceptions and opinions of academicians towards ChatGPT-3 by collecting and analyzing social media comments, and a survey was conducted with library and information science professionals. The research uses a content analysis method and finds that while ChatGPT-3 can be a valuable tool for research and writing, it is not 100% accurate and should be cross-checked. The study also finds that while some academicians may not accept ChatGPT-3, most are starting to accept it. The study is beneficial for academicians, content developers, and librarians.

Graduate students, as potential future full-time researchers, are a population that should show proficiency in data sharing. Though there are many resources that teach data sharing best practices for students, it is difficult to tell how well students do when sharing their data. We compared the FAIRness of non-traditional research output metadata associated with theses and dissertations for records shared in a generalist repository by individual students, and records shared through an institutional repository using the same repository platform. Through Google Scholar and other search engines, the content is accessed worldwide, yet the DC remains a little-known resource on campus. This fact motivated the director of the Forrer Learning Commons to seek input on how to more effectively increase submissions and the number of users.
