It doesn’t have to take loading additional records in the catalog or a team of librarians to find and select titles. This paper explores the process Eastern Kentucky University Libraries went through to create and develop a mediated demand driven acquisitions workflow starting with interlibrary loan requests and helped the collection become modern, diversified, and more responsive to current users and curriculum.

Abstract
The study evaluated the effects of job stress on job performance of librarians in selected public university libraries in Nigeria. It employed descriptive research design with the population of two hundred and sixty (260) librarians from all the public university libraries in South West, Nigeria. A questionnaire on the survey of job stress and effects on job performance of librarians was raised and validated. The reliability of the instrument was ascertained using Cronbach Alpha reliability to estimate the internal consistency of the instrument. This paper examines the use of assistive technologies in libraries to enhance access to resources for individuals with visual impairments. Various types of assistive technologies including screen readers and text-to-speech software are discussed in terms of their features and applications. Implementation challenges and strategies are examined along with the positive impact of assistive technologies on accessing library resources. The proliferation of electronic information resources (EIRs) has transformed modern libraries, as they provide convenience and remote access, they also disrupt traditional library spaces and services. This critical review examines library management tactics regarding EIRs, weighing two approaches:1) attempting to bring back on-site users through enhancing physical spaces and embedding librarians in courses, versus 2) following remote users by developing robust virtual reference and embedded librarianship. Scholarly views consider the pros and cons of each tactic. Emphasis is placed on aligning tactics with institutional priorities and user needs. The study investigated the era of ICT competencies and job performance of librarians in some selected university libraries in North Central of Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consists of 171 professional and para professional librarians from Francis Sarwuan Tarka University library and Benue State University library. A total of 171 questionnaires were distributed only 133 were retrieved. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics mean and percentage mean score of 2.5 and above and percentage score of 50% were considered.
