The study investigated the perception and contribution of Librarians to Open Access Resources in tertiary institutions in Ekiti State, Nigeria. The study adopted the expo-facto descriptive design. The sampled for the study comprised 100 Librarians who were randomly selected through simple random sampling. The current study tries to align various model of mediation through leadership styles (Transformational, Transactional), organization culture types (innovative, supportive and bureaucratic) with employee’s commitment thorough job satisfaction among the employees of government libraries from Khyber pakhtoonKhwa Pakistan. Recently, the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence released the Semantic Scholar Open Research Corpus (S2ORC), one of the largest open-access scholarly big datasets with more than 130 million scholarly paper records. S2ORC contains a significant portion of automatically generated metadata. The metadata quality could impact downstream tasks such as citation analysis, citation prediction, and link analysis. In this project, we assess the document linking quality and estimate the document conflation rate for the S2ORC dataset. Using semi-automatically curated ground truth corpora, we estimated that the overall document linking quality is high, with 92.6% of documents correctly linking to six major …

The present study aim is to know the information professionals/library professional’s knowledge sharing behaviours and attitudes among the institutes. This study investigated six countries' library professionals: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The study discussed knowledge sharing behaviour, technological equipment used for knowledge management and disseminating the sources of knowledge; academic social networking sites used for sharing the information and knowledge as well as challenges in knowledge management faced by the librarians examined in detail. The implication of the study highlighted the various areas of knowledge management such as training, budget, lack of staff and reward.

The purpose of this study is to examine the papers published in the ASLIB Journal of Information Management between 2014 to 2021. The Scopus database was chosen for bibliographic data extraction. The VOSviewer software was used to visualize the research results using network maps. During the research period, 311 papers with 2534 citations were discovered. The publication trends of the ASLIB Journal of Information Management have been identified using a variety of bibliometric variables. As awareness and acceptance of trans and gender diverse people grows, scholarly publishing has seen a movement to support trans authors through inclusive name change policies. This work mainly happens through trans scholars approaching publishers and requesting these changes. Sometimes this results in a new policy that supports the authors and protects them from being outed to co-authors and readers; other times, the policies are less than ideal or do not change at all.
