METHODS: The importance of the artifacts will be revealed through relating the stories behind and significance of artifacts to the school’s history and mission. Included will be paintings, statuary, Mace, logo, bowls, symbols of presidency, publications, and special print collection. The story will be told through interviews with long term members of the school’s faculty and staff.

Purpose: Costs for Preston Medical Library’s primary point-of-care (POC) clinical tool have increased to half of the acquisitions budget, while user affiliation data have not been provided to facilitate cost sharing. In response, user preferences for POC tools were analyzed to determine a viable, less expensive alternative to the current subscription.

Setting/Participants/Resources: Faculty and residents at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine (GSM), and other clinical staff at the University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC), a 685-bed teaching hospital.

OBJECTIVE Meeting faculty and students where they are is a challenge for libraries on any given day. With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, library outreach took a drastic hit as campuses closed and users went remote. Traditional outreach often relies on serendipitous in-person interactions as users ask for assistance with resources and research. Revising systems to meet users at a distance during a time of upheaval is a challenge and an opportunity for librarians to rethink information sharing and instruction methods.

Objective: This poster discusses library collaboration with a community center to promote health as a profession and promote health information literacy in the African American community.

Methods: Library staff reached out to a local community center with the intention of introducing the health professions to students in the community. The library scheduled medical, pharmacy and physical therapy students to do unique classes for different ages of children. This study investigated the information needs versus Information services by assessing predictors of Secondary School Students with Visual Impairment Satisfaction at School Library Media Centres in South-Eastern Nigeria. Rethink, Reuse, Recycle: Turning An Existing Workshop Into A Virtual Opportunity For Outreach And Engagement, Jason Wardell, Bridget Retzloff, Joan Plungis

This case study of using a webinar series as a library marketing technique shares the process, communications, and assessment results from a well-attended online event, “Summer of Citations.” An in-person citation management software workshop for graduate students by librarians at a small midwestern private university served as a springboard for the series. Targeted to faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate honors students, the Zoom-based, 45-minute sessions covered a different product on each of three successive days. A common structure for each presentation, along with the use of Springshare modules for registration and assessment, facilitated the event’s rapid production and easy replication.
