Objectives Evaluate the degree of postoperative pain in patients with necrotic teeth with symptomatic apical periodontitis in mandibular first molar teeth at 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hrs time interval after using different irrigation activation techniques in single-visit endodontic treatment.

Methods Seventy-eight patients diagnosed with necrotic mandibular first molar with symptomatic apical periodontitis were randomly allocated into 1 of 3 separate groups (n=26); Navitip group (control), EndoUltra group, or Eddy group. Aim: to observe the effect of propolis and its nano counterpart when used as final irrigation materials and compare them to the conventionally used EDTA and saline on the clinical outcomes of necrotic mature anterior teeth with apical periodontitis after treating them using regenerative endodontic procedure.

Introduction: This study investigated the effects from the carious cavity and access from it on the fracture resistance of endodontically treated maxillary premolars using finite element analysis (FEA). Methods: A maxillary premolar was used to compare three types of access cavity related to having a proximal carious defect: Caries-driven access (CDA), Conservative access that has a mesial component (MCA) as well as traditional access with the same mesial component (MTA). Researchers have compared the differences between hand compaction of root-end filling bioceramics with compaction of these materials by hand followed by ultrasonic activation (hand/ultrasonic compaction). Additionally, most of these researchers did not utilize Micro-Computed Tomography (Micro-CT) analysis. The purpose of this study is to evaluate total porosity volume of three different bioceramics when compacted by hand alone versus hand/ultrasonic compaction using Micro-CT Analysis.

Introduction: The purpose of this study is to compare the push-out bond strength of four bioceramic materials to root dentin that are used during regenerative endodontics. The bioceramics being tested are: 1. Biodentine®(Septodont); 2. EndoSequence BC Putty Fast Set® (Brasseler); 3. NeoPutty® (Avalon Biomed); and 4. ProRoot MTA White® (Dentsply). A high bond strength of a bioceramic material to root dentin will provide excellent seal. Objective: This study compared the bioactivity and pH of Nano-white mineral trioxide aggregate (NWMTA), Neo-mineral trioxide aggregate plus (NeoMTA Plus), and Mineral trioxide aggregate angelus (MTA-A) as root repair materials.

Methods: A total of 60 discs made from the three materials (20 discs each) were prepared according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Objective: This study aimed to examine the effects of three distinct file systems with two motion types—rotary and reciprocation—on the development of dentinal microcracks after root canal preparation using a stereomicroscope. Methods: Sixty mandibular molars with a curvature of 30° were decoronated and divided into three groups (Vortex Blue, Mtwo, and ProTaper Next) and two subgroups (rotary and reciprocating motions). Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of edentulousness on the temporomandibular joint using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: In this study, CBCT images were evaluated in a total of 48 patients (24 dentulous, 24 edentulous). Ninety-six temporomandibular joint CBCT images were examined. Eminence inclination, condyle head widths and joint space were measured and statistically compared between the edentulous and dentulous groups. Nevoid Basal Cell Carcinoma Syndrome, also called as Gorlin Gotz syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by the presence of multiple odontogenic keratocysts (OKCs) of the jaw, basal cell carcinomas and skeletal anomalies. The permanent mandibular first molar is frequently involved in conventional root canal treatment due to its function and position in the oral cavity. Additional root canals mandate accurate diagnosis and conservative management to prevent any procedural errors.
