These meeting minutes list individuals in attendance and missing at the July 30, 2015 Oregon Wine Board (OWB) meeting, held at the Redwood Hyperion Suites in Grants Pass, Oregon. Reports were given by the finance, marketing, education, and research committees. The Board also discussed including incoming and outgoing Board members at the December meeting focusing on the OWB strategic plan for 2016-2018. The meeting lasted 2 hours 44 minutes, and the Board went into Executive Session after the meeting was adjourned.

Seven Hills Winery uses a variety of grapes from many different vineyards around the Pacific Northwest, with vineyards located in the Walla Walla Valley, Red Mountain, Wahluke Slope, and the Columbia Valley (all in Washington), as well as vineyards located in Oregon's Umpqua Valley. Gathering grapes from a variety of locations helps to create strong regional white and red wines.

This document provides a brief history of the Whitehouse-Crawford Company building in Walla Walla, Washington. The building stands on the site where the Whitehouse-Crimmins plant had been located. The Whitehouse-Crimmins plant was destroyed by fire in 1903, but it was immediately rebuilt when J.R. Crawford joined with Whitehouse-Crimmins to form the Whitehouse-Crawford Company. The building was used as a mill and furniture manufacturing plant until 1988, when it was acquired by the city of Walla Walla. The Columbia Gorge Wine Region (CGWR) is an emerging wine producing area that extends for about 100km along the Columbia River in Oregon and Washington State in which the number of vineyards, wineries and physical terroir conditions have yet to be defined. To better understand the physical factors affecting Oregon and Washington wine, this project analyzes climate, topography, geology and soil at vineyards in the CGWR. This was accomplished using Geographic Information Systems, existing earth science databases and field work. This document describes the history of the Steamboat Conference. The Steamboat Conference is an annual collaboration between Pinot Noir winemakers from Oregon and California. Eugene chef Del Pearl, Sunriver sommelier Rick Denton, California winemaker Jim Olsen, and Stephen Cary came up with the idea for the gathering and sharing of knowledge in the fall of 1979.
