Information literacy, inquiry, and empirical observation skills are essential to undergraduate students’ success, supporting the development of their independent critical thinking skills. In this chapter, we discuss an interdisciplinary course that we, an architecture professor and a librarian, co-taught at New York City College of Technology. The course, Learning Places: Understanding the City, combines place-based learning with primary source research, developing students’ abilities to observe an urban site chosen for study and to document their observations, and in the process build a line of inquiry for further research. The purpose of this study was to examine and visualize lecturers' writings submitted to the Mataram State Islamic University's institutional repository during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study used bibliometric analysis with the total number of publications was 166 documents in various types.The results indicated that journal articles accounted for 42.16 percent (n=70) of all publications and more than half (65.66%) of total publications were authored in Indonesian language. Additionally, it was discovered that the terms pendidikan (education) and pembelajaran (learning) were the two most frequent terms in all type of publications, appearing 10,714 and 9,834 times respectively. This descriptive study was conducted in Pakistan in February 2021. The main objective was to identify and discuss the various aspects of the research journals of Library & Information Sciences (LIS) published form Pakistan till date. Documentary analysis was made for acquiring the basic and desired information about these journals. The scrutiny of the available record revealed that seven LIS journals are being published in Pakistan. Out of seven, three were Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized. The present study was undertaken with a view to know the information needs and information seeking behaviour of agricultural research fraternity of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV), Pundibari, Cooch Behar, West Bengal (India), which comprises of teachers, scientists and extension specialists. The study employed the survey method with the help of self designed questionnaire. The findings reveal that 76.40% of the respondents visited the library for issue/return of books, while 59.55% respondents visited the library for accessing electronic information resources. The purpose of this study was to appraise the prevailing status of customer relationship management (CRM) practices in university libraries of Pakistan to increase strong and mutual beneficial relationship with user. Moreover, correlates of CRM practices with types, categories, and geographical locations of university libraries were also explored. This study adopted cross-sectional survey research design using a questionnaire. 55 Fifth Avenue (home to Cardozo School of Law) is the birthplace of a number of truly remarkable cultural institutions in New York City. As part of a conference highlighting Billy Holiday’s impact on music, issues of race in the United States, and Cardozo, I researched the history of the law school’s building, where Billie Holiday first recorded professionally in 1933 with Columbia Records with the producer John Hammond. Here is some of that history and the research strategies I employed to uncover it.

Purpose: This study probed e-readiness in public libraries regarding human resources, electronic infrastructure and Network support & IT penetration in services and operations. It also assessed the status of the budget, staff, collection and services of libraries.

Method/Design: The study population comprised 14 public libraries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A quantitative approach was used and the questionnaire-based survey was conducted to collect data from the librarians of public libraries. Analysis was conducted using interpretation, inductive and deductive, internal coherence, and holistica approaches. This research resulted is some conclusions. First, the Baduy community was found to uphold a form of ethno- nationalism which is based on Pikukuh and Buyut with a strong focus on the meaning of leadership, communal life, and observance of laws. Japanese television program that contained gender stereotypes is Daughter of Lupin (2019) drama series. This research aims to identify and explain gender stereotypes shown in Daughter of Lupin through the characterization of Mikumo Hana. This research is qualitative descriptive and it uses semiotic approach by Roland Barthes to analyze data. The result shows that Daughter of Lupin drama series has two types of gender stereotypes, which are traditional gender stereotypes and shifted gender stereotypes. This naming phenomenon can also be found in old Javanese inscriptions.
