Purpose: The primary goal of this research is to evaluate the web content of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs) website using parameters taken from conventional library websites. The standard evaluation method is used worldwide, and it is suggested that the library website be updated.

Approach/ Methodology: This study employed observation to evaluate 07 NIPERs library websites in India, utilizing a 100-item checklist organized into seven components to assess the availability of the library website's resources and services. Our research incorporates all papers in the journal from 2011-2020. The paper analyses the most published authors, Average growth ratio of publications. Supporting Online Doctoral Student Socialization Through Talk About Writing: A Case Study Of The Short Life Of A Graduate Writing Center, Maureen J. Barney

This dissertation project was a qualitative case study of one writing center for online graduate students, the Graduate Writing Center at Concordia University–Portland. This study focused on synchronous interactions between peer writing consultants and online doctoral students to determine if the synchronous writing support sessions were a space where online doctoral students experienced affective support and socialization experiences. In this research, I analyzed four document sets: seven transcripts of synchronous sessions conducted via Zoom, interviews with three writing consultants and six online doctoral students, anonymous responses to appointment feedback surveys, and my fieldnotes.

The 2021 Washington Library Association (WLA) Conference’s shift from in-person to virtual was a decision that felt appropriate and not at all surprising, given the uncertainty surrounding large in-person events due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The W.T. Carter and Brother Lumber Company began in 1898 and operated until 1968 when it was sold to the U.S. Plywood Corporation. The Polk County, Texas company harvested longleaf pine during a crucial period of development for the Texas economy. The lumber industry was the state’s first large scale commercial enterprise not dependent on farming and provided a model for future extractive industries in the state. The W.T. Carter and Brother Lumber Company town of Camden, Texas exemplifies rural implementations of the company town system in the Texas lumber industry. Internet Information Retrieval Experiences And Challenges Of Aga Khan University Library Users, Nasra Gathoni

This study reports on internet information retrieval experiences and challenges of Aga Khan University library users. The unit of analysis was obtained through a purposive sampling method and data collected using a structured questionnaire. The data was quantitatively analyzed and descriptive statistics provided. 87% (52/60) of the members in the sample completed and returned the questionnaire. 83% indicated that they had prior computer skills and 52% had training in Internet searching. 35% of the respondents who did not use any of the search techniques indicated, was noted. Using The Cataloguing Code Of Ethics Principles For A Retrospective Project Analysis, Angela Yon, Eric Willey

This study uses the recently released Cataloguing Code of Ethics to evaluate a project which explored how to ethically, efficiently, and accurately add demographic terms for African American authors to catalog records. By reviewing the project through the lens of these principles the authors were able to examine how their practice was ethical in some ways but could have been improved in others. This helped them identify areas of potential improvement in their current and future research and practice and explore ethical difficulties in cataloging resources with records that are used globally, especially in a linked data environment.

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of light intensity on the subjective complaints of librarians and visitiors at an academic library. This research applied both quantitative and qualitative techniques on 696 visitors and librarians. The result suggests that the effects of light intensity include eyestrain, reading difficulty, dizziness, shoulder and back pains, as well as impaired concentration. Also, the frequency of reading and working impacted the subjective complaints. Furthermore, the intensity as well as the frequency of reading and working greatly influenced the subjective complaints. Open educational resources (OER) are freely accessible, openly licensed text, media, and other digital assets that are useful for teaching, learning, and assessing, as well as for research purposes. This paper attempts to know the awareness of librarians in higher educational institution’s such as professional and academic librarians in different states of India.
