The study investigated the contributions of human and non-human resources’ function, benefit, and rigidities associated with marketing e-resources at selected Technical University (TU) libraries in Ghana. 62 respondents from the three Technical Universities (TUs) libraries were respectively drawn from all the three selected Technical Universities (Kumasi Technical University, Tamale Technical University, and Takoradi Technical University). Given that the population from the three TUs library staff was small, no sampling had to be done. This paper presents a simulation-based approach to countering online dis/misinformation. This disruptive technology experiment incorporated a synthetic environment component, based on adapted SIR epidemiological model to evaluate and visualize the effectiveness of suggested solutions to the issue. The participants in the simulation were given a realistic scenario depicting a dis/misinformation threat and were asked to select a number of solutions, described in IoS (Ideas-of-Systems) cards. During the event, the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the IoS cards, were tested in a synthetic environment (SEN), built after a Susceptible-Infected-Resistant (SIR) model. AbstractApproximately 60,000 tons of e-waste from new, secondhand, or used electrical electronics equipment/devices (UEEEDs) are disposed off at the end of their shelf life annually in Lagos, Nigeria. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to understand better how secondhand or UEEED e-waste was efficiently managed or recycled without resulting in environmental concerns.
