This paper examines with scientometric tools a total of 7659 publications on natural hazards indexed in web of science database during the period 2006-2015. The average number of publications published per year was 765.9. The highest number of publications (1264) was recorded in the year 2015. The relative growth rates (RGR) has decreased from 2007 (0.72) to 2015 (0.18) in the span of 10 years. The doubling time (DT) has gradually increased from 0.96 in 2007 to 3.85 in 2015. The exponential growth of publications was observed during the study period. Majority of publications were found in English language. …

The aim of this research is to scrutiny the accessibility and decay of web citations (URLs) used in refereed articles published by 27 Computer Science open access journals as indexed by Scopus. To do this, at first, we downloaded 1000 articles of Computer Science open access journals from 2009 to 2018. After acquiring articles, their web citations are extracted and analyzed from the accessibility and decay point of view. In this study a scientometric analysis of the biotechnology research output of India during 2008-2017 was performed based on the information available in SCOPUS database. This study analyses the research output of India in biotechnology research on different parameters including the growth, global publication share and rank, contribution of major international collaborative partners and subject areas, contribution and citation impact of the most productive authors, institutions and journals. Introduction: This study conducted to assess the discipline specific and general skill level of librarians working in libraries of the top three Iranian medical universities in Tehran.

Methods: The survey was carried out among all 115 librarians working in the libraries of Iran, Tehran and Shahid-Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA.
