This study sets out to determine the influence of recognition of information need on the research practices of graduate students in the university libraries of South East, Nigeria. The Study examined the use of Electronic Resources in Engineering College Libraries in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. In this study collecting primary data for the present study, the investigator adopted the survey method. The tool employed for collecting data is questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed in such a way to collect the data from the library users (faculty members) of engineering college libraries. Qquestionnaires were circulated among 890 library users out of whom 705 responses were received representing 79% of the total sample to whom the questionnaire was distributed. This article discusses the benefits of the bento-box method of searching library resources, including a comparison of the method with a tabbed search interface. It then describes a usability study conducted by the Franklin University Library in which 27 students searched for an article, an ebook, and a journal on two websites: one using a bento box and one using the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS). Screen recordings of the searches were reviewed to see what actions users took while looking for information on each site, as well as how long the searches took. The concept of imaging politics and professional culture are two approaches that influence and control each other in managing library performance. This research is conducted by initially looking at imaging politics that operates on aspects of academic qualifications, library accessibility, and institutional governance among three libraries. The Present Study analyzed research output for a period of 5 years between 2015 to and 2019. Web of Science database a service from Clarivate Analytics has been used to download citation and source data. Histcite application software have been used to present the datasets. Analysis part focuses on the parameters like citation impact at local and global level, influential authors and their total output, ranking of contributing institutions and countries. In addition to this scientographical mapping of data is presented through graphs using VOSviewer software mapping technique.

We’ve all heard stories of students struggling with textbook costs, but how do our students cope when the price gets too high? Modeled after the Student Textbook and Course Materials Survey conducted by Florida Virtual Campus, Musselman Library’s course materials survey sought to uncover how textbook costs impact the success of Gettysburg College students. Results give insight into participants’ perceptions of how much money they spend, the strategies they use to reduce costs, and the effects of the cost of course materials on their academic success.
The Executive Summary details our research questions, key findings, and main takeaways.

The study was conducted in order to measure the information literacy skills of graduate students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). To meet the purpose, a study was conducted in multiple phases. In the first phase, a comprehensive literature review was completed. In the second phase, a survey research design was solicited to collect the required data using a self-administered structured questionnaire. The present study is an attempt to evaluate the authorship and collaboration pattern in IASLIC bulletin during the year 2011-2018. Total 162 articles published during the study period and out of which only 59 articles are published by single author and rest 103 articles are published by two or more than two authors. Background: Studies that identify children after acute trauma and prospectively track risk/protective factors and trauma responses over time are resource-intensive; small sample sizes often limit power and generalizability. Data visualizations help librarians see through the clutter of collection analysis metrics, and can be very useful for outreach to academic partners. Automating the production of data visualizations in Jupyter Notebook from standardized data inputs enables us to produce more reports for more academic departments, which increases our impact.
