This paper is a study of the LIS journals published by Emerald group of publications which originated online in the 21st century upto the year 2015. Five such journals include Journal of Enterprise Information Management (JEIM), Journal of Intellectual Capital(JIC), Online Information Review (OIR), Performance Measurement and Metrics (PMM) and Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society (JICES). The present study investigates authorship trends and productivity among LIS professionals who contributed journal articles in the selected 12 peer reviewed LIS journals of India, US and UK. For the purpose of the study four periodicals from each country are chosen during the period 2007 to 2017. The results analyzed proved that journal wise author distribution is highest in the published literature of UK with (3546) authors followed by India with (3162) and US (2420) authors. The National Library of Medicine's (NLM) MEDLINE database is the most important bibliographic database in the bio and related sciences. MEDLINE is freely accessible via the PubMed web interface, but NLM also licenses MEDLINE data to information service providers including EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Ovid, and Web of Science. The talk covers a longitudinal study of these five MEDLINE-based bibliographic database platforms. The goal of the study is to identify where and how these platforms differ when searched with semantically and logically equivalent search queries. The results have implications for literature searches, including systematic reviews.

Faculty Perceptions Of Academic Librarians: Experts, Connectors, And Resource Stewards, Jody Fagan, Elizabeth Price, Hillary Ostermiller, Lara Sapp

A survey concerning perceptions of academic librarians was conducted at a large, 4-year university with three populations: librarians, faculty, and undergraduate students. This paper presents results from the faculty population, with comparison to the librarian sample. The major research questions address perceptions about what librarians know (expertise and skills), what librarians do (role and duties), and what librarians are like (motivations and affective characteristics). Results showed faculty perceptions to be more in-line overall with librarians’ perceptions of themselves than the literature might otherwise indicate, at least in domains where the faculty are actively engaged. The study is conducted among 100 adolescents in Kerala State in India to know the sharing of information by the adolescents with their parents. The matters they communicate with their parents and the matters they are reluctant to communicate are studied. The data was collected using questionnaire. Although Buddhism is the fourth largest religion of the world with almost 500 million followers, to the best of our knowledge, academic literature lacks a bibliometric study investigating Buddhism documents. We used four databases provided by Web of Science; Thomson Reuters to extract the academic documents related to Buddhism and included all items published between 1975 and 2017. We generated info-maps and info-graphics showing distribution of world countries’ publication productivity and connections in bibliometric networks. This report presents the results of a survey census and website review of school libraries, taken across all South Australian schools in Term 3, 2019. The census collected data on school library staffing, facilities, funding, and support. Results reveal that schools with a qualified teacher librarian are more likely to have improved student literacy outcomes. While 94 per cent of South Australian schools have someone to manage the library collection and to select resources, less than a quarter (23 per cent) are managed by a qualified teacher librarian. The most productive contributors, institutions, journals and core subjects in coronavirus publications are identified in this study. The highly cited articles on coronavirus are also identified. This paper focused on identifying ways of improving the web presence and visibility of Delta State Polytechnics, Ogwashi-Uku, Ozoro and Oghara, to enable them to maximize the potentials of innovative technologies for effective education delivery.
