The present paper is a scientometric enquiry of research publications of Tripura University for a period of 10 years (i.e. from 2010-2019) and based on the secondary data collected from Web of Science databases and found that the total 503 papers published during this study period which index in web of science database. This paper aims to determine the usage patterns of smartphones by Utkal University students for their academic pursuits. This study uses a survey method to collect data from students at Utkal University. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed, and 215 duly filled questionnaires were received, with the response rate of 86%. The students expressed that they used smartphones for both general purposes as well as academic purposes. ABSTRACT

Electronic resources are transforming most academic library systems and how students view and use these information sources is critical. The study thus explored students’ perceptions and practices regarding the use of electronic resources in public university libraries in Ghana. The study adopted the descriptive research design, and the quantitative research approach was used; hence questionnaires were the main instrument employed for data collection. A total of 537 students were conveniently sampled from six public universities. The aim of the study was to examine the research contributions of library and information science teachers in India in terms of gender, type of universities and regional offices of university grants commission(UGC). A survey approach was used in this study and structured online questionnaire framed using google form. Responses received from 287 (81%) out of 353 LIS teachers. This negative attitude could be associated with the demographic factors of the librarians hence this study investigated demographic factors as predictors of career commitment of librarians in South-South universities, Nigeria. The study attempted to find out whether undergraduates’ subject background has influence on their application of digital literacy skills in accessing digital information for educational problem solving.The design of the Ex- Post Facto survey was used for the study. A37- item Questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of 1506, which represented 5% of 30,121 undergraduates of seven federal universities in southern Nigeria, which were purposely selected for the study. This study explored political information behavior of citizens residing in a rural setting from the district of Toba Tek Singh, Punjab-Pakistan. Qualitative research design using an unstructured interview guide was employed to conduct this research. Face-to-face interviews of 51 participants, selected through purposive sampling process, were conducted for data collection by visiting their homes using local language. Objective: This longitudinal observational study explored relationships between actual and expected usage of library resources as well as anticipated and encountered barriers to that usage among public health affiliates over the course of a semester.

Methods: School of Public Health master’s degree students were sent questionnaires monthly throughout a semester that asked about usage of and barriers to library resources to examine changes over time.

Results: Most students utilized library resources less often than they predicted at the beginning of the semester and did not have accurate expectations about which library resources they would use. Although most students encountered no …

The present study assessed the utilization of electronic resources by the faculty members, research scholars,and UG, PG students of the central library of north Bengal university. Out of hundred, ninety respondent’s data condidered as sample for analysis.The study reveals that 41.11% of patrons of North Bengal university utilizing the electronic resource. The Centrality Of Disclosure Decisions To The Illness Experience For Youth With Chronic Conditions: A Qualitative Study, Roberta Lynn Woodgate, Pauline Tennent, Sarah C. Barriage, Nicole Legras

The aim of this paper is to illuminate findings of disclosure experiences for youth living with chronic illness using a non-categorical approach. The findings were derived from a larger qualitative study framed by social constructivist grounded theory that sought to understand youth's involvement in healthcare decision-making in the context of chronic illness. Fifty-four youth participated in the study, ranging from 9 to 24 years. Three main themes representing the youth's perspectives and experiences of disclosing chronic illness were identified: (1) disclosure is central to the illness experience; (2) spectrum of disclosure; and (3) navigating others' reactions to disclosure. These unique items can often be found in public libraries, historical societies, and other cultural heritage organizations, many of which may not have trained special collections catalogers on staff. In this workshop, participants will learn how to catalog archival materials, including manuscripts, photographs, and audiovisual materials, so they can be discovered in online catalogs and databases.
