The study attempts to analyse research publications of the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in physics during the period 2010 - 2019. The bibliographic data for this study was extracted from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database. The study analyses the year-wise research publications, types of document, preferred journals for publication, prolific author, h-index, most collaborating institutions and countries, etc. This paper analyses 2593 research papers published by scientists of the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru during the period under the study. Gender disparity is present in many research fields including in Library and Information Science (LIS). This paper studied gender disparity among Indian LIS professionals and measure the intellectual output 20 years. The study reviewed 1,195 publications in the LIS field from 1999 to 2018, determining the gender of the first author. An analysis of the publication list determined the yearly contributions of male and female authors, together with the average distributions, yearly citation rates and other metrics, by gender. Across the whole study period, publications first-authored by men outnumbered those by women. Similarly, overall contributions by men were higher than …

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the publication of many scientific papers. The goal of the present research was to analyze these papers using the Altmetric Attention Score (AAS). Statistics for 100 publications with high AAS scores were selected and exported from the Dimension database on May 22nd 2020. The major findings were that these publications were published in 34 different journals or preprint repositories. Abstract
This study assessed the information literacy level and media resource utilization among the secondary school students in Lagos State, Nigeria. Using a survey research design, questionnaire was used as the main instrument for data collection. Data was collected from 1,119 SSS2 students across 17 secondary schools from 3 educational districts in Lagos State, Nigeria. Findings showed that highest number of the respondents (25.8%) were from 10 -11 years, while the least (17.4%) were from age 14-15 years, while 53.6% were male and 46.4% were female. This study examined the level of information resources availability, utilisation and job performance in selected university libraries in North-Central Nigeria. Four research questions and three hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Task-Technology Fit was the theoretical framework underpinning the study. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the barriers to using information technology in the education of librarian students of Tehran Iran Azad University.
