The present paper describes the Canadian Journal of Information and library science (CJILS) research output between 1993-2021. All articles published since 1993 were analyzed for publication. The result reveals that 337 articles, book reviews, editorial and conference papers were published during 1993 to 2021. Authorship patterns, geographical locations of authors, keywords and contributions of various institutions from different continents were brought into consideration for this study. Longitudinal trends are noted in this research and the data were compared with earlier descriptions of information science in Canada. Due to rapid smartphone health application growth and usage, we analyzed literature published in the field of spHealth Apps. SciVerse Scopus was used as the database of choice for this study. Research productivity, collaborations, citation analysis, authors and institutions were presented using well established bibliometric indicators.

During the study period (2000-20), 4546 documents were published in total. The average count of documents per year was 227. Objective: This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis and scientific visualization of the contribution made by Iranians' authors in the Library Philosophy and Practice (LPP) from 2006 to 2019.

Material and Methods: This bibliometric analysis used Scopus database for retrieving data on all papers published by Iranians in LPP during the study time span. VOSviewer and Microsoft Excel software packages were used for data analysis.

A comparative study was performed based on scientific metrics for the year 2019 for the top 100 open access journals (OAJ) extracted from the web of science. The considered bibliometric indicators are Journal Impact Factor (JIF), Eugene Factor Score (ES), Scimago Journal Ranking (SJR), Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP), Cite Score (CS), Google Scholar (GS), and H5 index. This study shows that journals have different ranks compared with their metrics of the various scientific indicators. This paper is based on the bibliometric analysis of Nanomedicine research published from 2009 to 2018. Total 6415 records were retrieved for analysis from the Web of Science database. The study covers year wise distribution of publications, identification of most prolific authors, identification of most contributing countries, application of Bradford’s law and identification of core journals in the field of nanomedicine. The study reveals that China has contributed highest publications followed by USA and India. The authorship pattern of the publications was studied. The publications are highly collaborative (DC=0.98).

Several of the impactful strategies for improving learning are through use of hypermedia. The use of hypermedia in research publications is projected to grow to continue increasing. This growth is also observed in the various fields of research. This research offers a bibliometric analysis of 1,224 articles on the use of hypermedia in learning, published in 443 scholarly outlets, written by 2,584 authors (240 single-authored documents and 2,344 multi-authored documents).
