On learning from me that I had several new species in this family, he has requested that I should publish them at once, so that they may be incorporated in his monograph, which will be published in the Transactions of the American Entomological Society of Philadelphia. Plusieurs annees de suite, M. l’abbe J. de Joannis mit a ma disposition un nombre considerable de cocons de Monema flavesceus Wlk. Provenant du Sud-Est du Tche-li et des environs de Changhai. J’ai pu ainsi conserver vivantes des Chrysis shanghaiensis Sm. Et observer quelque pen leurs moeurs. Je les ai nourries avec du miel d’Abeille En 1899, une femelle eclose le 29 aout vecut jusqu’au 20 octobre: une autre, sortie de son cocon fin mars, mourut le 29 juillet; une treisieme vecut du 20 aout an 17 octobre. En 1900, j’en conservai un individu du 1 juin au 15 octobre. …
