At a press conference earlier today, East Tennessee State University President Dr. Brian Noland named Dr. Richard “Doc” Sander as the university’s permanent director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Sander had been serving as interim athletic director (AD) since August of last year.

Sander has a long history and close relationship with the ETSU athletic department. He served as director of Intercollegiate Athletics once before, from 2013 to 2017. การศึกษาวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำการเปรียบเทียบต้นทุนและระยะเวลาในการขนส่งยางพาราจากโรงงานในจังหวัดสงขลาไปยังท่าเรือชิงเต่า เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการเปิดเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งใหม่จากท่าเรือกรณีศึกษา โดยเปรียบเทียบกับเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งที่มีอยู่เดิม กับเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งจากท่าเรือกรณีศึกษา ซึ่งขั้นตอนในการศึกษานั้นคือการสัมภาษณ์เจ้าหน้าที่ของบริษัทที่ดำเนินการจัดการในการส่งออกตู้คอนเทนเนอร์บรรจุสินค้ายางพารา ในขนาดตู้ 20 ฟุต เพื่อทำการเก็บข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องในส่วนของต้นทุนและระยะเวลาในการขนส่ง เส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งในวิจัยนั้นมีทั้งหมด 5 เส้นทางและรูปแบบโดยเส้นทางและรูปแบบที่ 1 – 4 นั้นมีอยู่เดิม และเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งที่ 5 น้้นเป็นเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับท่าเรือกรณีศึกษา ซึ่งรูปแบบและเส้นทางการขนส่งทั้งหมดนั้นมีดังนี้ 1) โรงงานต้นทาง – ด่านศุลกากรสะเดา (ผ่านรถบรรทุก) – ท่าเรือปีนัง – ท่าเรือชิงเต่า 2) โรงงานต้นทาง – ด่านศุลกากรปาดังเบซาร์ (ผ่านรถไฟ) – ท่าเรือปีนัง – ท่าเรือชิงเต่า 3) โรงงานต้นทาง – ท่าเรือสงขลา – ท่าเรือสิงคโปร์ – ท่าเรือชิงเต่า 4) โรงงานต้นทาง – ท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง – ท่าเรือชิงเต่า และ 5) โรงงานต้นทาง – ท่าเรือ ABC – ท่าเรือ XYZ – ท่าเรือชิงเต่า โดยผลการวิจัย พบว่าเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งที่ 1 นั้นมีต้นทุนในการส่งออกต่ำที่สุด อยู่ที่ 31,415 บาท/ตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ และเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งที่ 4 นั้นมีระยะเวลาในการขนส่งที่ต่ำที่สุด อยู่ที่ 19.5 วัน ทั้งนี้ ในส่วนของเส้นทางและรูปแบบการขนส่งที่ 5 นั้นมีต้นทุนในการส่งออกที่สูงที่สุดอยู่ที่ 49,400 บาท/ตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ และมีระยะเวลาในการขนส่งไปยังท่าเรือปลายทางอยู่ที่ 21 วัน

JOHNSON CITY - East Tennessee State University has won an important Federal Emergency Management Agency grant, the second such award in the last six months. 

ETSU is the only university in the state to receive the FEMA grant, worth $160,000 and is part of the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program. 

“We are thrilled to receive this honor,” said Dr. Andrew Joyner, an associate professor in the Department of Geosciences. “It means we can help improve the campus, making it an even safer place.”

This study investigates the impacts of asymmetric shock on volatility and beta within the Thai stock exchange. It finds that portfolios composed of stocks that demonstrate lower sensitivity to negative shocks and heightened responsiveness to market trends consistently outperform in various market conditions. The empirical analysis, spanning from 2018 to 2022, underscores the benefits of integrating asymmetry into investment strategies. A long-short strategy, in particular, is identified as highly effective, providing a means to capitalize on this asymmetry. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบจากความตกลงหุ้นส่วนเศรษฐกิจไทย-ญี่ปุ่น (JTEPA) ที่มีผลต่อการนำเข้าและส่งออก ในสินค้าประเภทส่วนประกอบและอุปกรณ์ประกอบของยานยนต์ เพื่อนำผลการศึกษาและการวิเคราะห์ไปสรุปผลเพื่อหาเหตุผล ปัญหา เพื่อเสริมการให้คำแนะนำในฐานะผู้ให้คำปรึกษาในการนำเข้าส่งออก การรวบรวมข้อมูลของงานวิจัยฉบับนี้จะทำโดยการเก็บข้อมูลผ่านทาง Google form โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้ประกอบการที่มีกิจการนำเข้าส่งออกส่วนประกอบและอุปกรณ์ประกอบของยานยนต์ หรือผู้จัดการ หรือผู้มีสิทธิตัดสินใจเลือกใช้วิธีการต่างๆในการนำเข้าของกิจการ การวิเคราะห์ผลของงานวิจัยฉบับนี้จะใช้หลัก Explanatory Sequential Design ซึ่งเป็นการรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณจากแบบสอบถาม และวิเคราะห์ผลด้วย Cross-tabulation และ Chi-Square test จากนั้นจึงสรุปผลที่ได้ และทำการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ประกอบการเพื่อยืนยันข้อมูล รวมทั้งถามเหตุผลในเชิงลึกที่เป็นข้อจำกัดของแบบสอบถาม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การใช้ JTEPA ในการนำเข้าส่งออกส่วนประกอบและอุปกรณ์ประกอบของยานยนต์มีการใช้งานกับบริษัทขนาดย่อมหรือกลาง (SMEs) ที่น้อย และขนาดบริษัทมีผลอย่างมากในการตัดสินใจใช้หรือไม่ใช้ JTEPA เป็นวิธีทางเลือกในการนำเข้า ซึ่งสาเหตุมาจากค่าใช้จ่ายโดยรวม และการต้องอาศัยประโยชน์ของประกาศกระทรวงอื่น ๆ เพิ่มเติม แต่สำหรับบริษัทที่ทำหน้าที่เป็น OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) หรือบริษัทขนาดใหญ่ ที่ผ่านคุณสมบัติตามประกาศกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม การใช้ JTEPA จะให้ผลลัพธ์ที่ดีกว่า และค่าใช้จ่ายโดยรวมที่ต่ำกว่า
