The goal of this research is to determine the structural parameters of the recycled plastic polypropylene when molded into bricks resembling CMU blocks. To accomplish this, three mechanisms had to be assembled: the shredder, the injector, and the 1x1 mold. A tensile and compression test were to be performed on the plastic brick, and the values would be used to compare the tensile and compressive strength of PP plastic bricks, as well as their modulus of elasticity and stress vs. Strain performance. By enabling the quick generation of design alternatives, these methods have the potential to expedite the public participation process. In this study, we explore ArcGIS CityEngine, an Esri procedural modeling software, and its application for depicting new missing middle housing developments in San Luis Obispo, California. This research reports on the findings from an area focused economic development and business community focused study of the Costal Mobility Route (CMR), which is intended to complement and extend research previously conducted in Phase 1 of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s (DLR’s) ‘Covid-19 Mobility & Public Realm Works’ project. This study is based on participant interviews, and is limited to businesses located directly along the CMR, as well as a number of business groups representing a wider area and a Local Enterprise Office.

The walkability of a neighborhood impacts public health and leads to economic and environmental benefits. The condition of sidewalks is a significant indicator of a walkable neighborhood as it supports and encourages pedestrian travel and physical activity. However, common sidewalk assessment practices are subjective, inefficient, and ineffective. Current alternate methods for objective and automated assessment of sidewalk surfaces do not consider pedestrians’ physiological responses. งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มุ่งเน้นศึกษาเครือข่ายการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวแบบหลายจุดหมายปลายทางในช่วงเดือนมิถุนายน พ.ศ.2563 ถึงเดือนตุลาคม พ.ศ.2564 โดยใช้ข้อมูลบันทึกการใช้บริการโทรศัพท์ (Call Detail Record; CDR) จากผู้ใช้งานจำนวน 664,500 บัญชี คิดเป็นจำนวนการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวระหว่างจุดหมายปลายทาง 7,115,986 ทริป ครอบคลุม 77 จังหวัดในประเทศไทย ข้อมูลการใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นข้อมูลที่ไม่สามารถระบุตัวตนของผู้ใช้งานได้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการเดินทางท่องเที่ยว บทบาทของจังหวัดจุดหมายปลายทาง และศึกษากลุ่มจังหวัดการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยเพื่อประยุกต์ใช้กับการปรับปรุงแผนพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับพฤติกรรมการท่องเที่ยว ผ่านใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เครือข่ายทางสังคม โดยวิเคราะห์ 3 วิธี ได้แก่ การวัดความเป็นศูนย์กลางตามระดับการเชื่อมต่อโดยคำนึงถึงค่าถ่วงน้ำหนัก จำนวนการเดินทางระหว่างจังหวัด และการหาชุมชนในเครือข่ายจากการศึกษาการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวแบบค้างคืนและการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวแบบไปกลับ พบว่าเครือข่ายการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวกระจุกตัวอยู่ในภาคกลาง โดยมีกลุ่มการเดินทางท่องเที่ยว 15 กลุ่ม 9 คู่จังหวัดจุดหมายปลายทาง รูปแบบการท่องเที่ยวแบบหลายจุดหมายปลายทางมีลักษณะแบบให้ความสำคัญกับจุดหมายปลายทาง (en route) เปรียบเทียบผลการศึกษากับเขตพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวพบว่าเขตพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวยังไม่สอดคล้องกับพฤติกรรมการท่องเที่ยว โดยสามารถนำผลลัพธ์ของการวิจัยไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อการนำเสนอรูปแบบการท่องเที่ยวแบบกลุ่มจังหวัดจากพฤติกรรมการท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่สนับสนุนการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มจังหวัด อย่างไรก็ตามงานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีข้อจำกัดในด้านระยะเวลาการจัดเก็บข้อมูลซึ่งอยู่ในช่วงเดือนมิถุนายน พ.ศ.2563 ถึงเดือนตุลาคม พ.ศ.2564 ซึ่งอยู่ในช่วงการระบาดของโรคโควิด 19 ซึ่งอาจส่งผลให้พฤติกรรมการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวแตกต่างจากช่วงสถานการณ์ปกติ การศึกษาในอนาคตควรรวบรวมข้อมูลการใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือหรือการศึกษาพฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยวในช่วงเวลาสถานการณ์ปกติเพิ่มเติม

งานวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษารวบรวมหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนด้านผังเมืองในประเทศไทย และวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ของการเรียนการสอนด้านผังเมืองในประเทศไทยร่วมกับสถานการณ์ที่สำคัญที่เกี่ยวข้องในอดีต เพื่อศึกษาวิวัฒนาการการเรียนการสอนด้านผังเมือง และเพื่อเสนอแนะในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรด้านผังเมืองในอนาคตของประเทศไทย โดยมีวิธีการวิจัย ได้แก่ การรวบรวมข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหลักสูตร การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้อง และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับผู้เกี่ยวข้องได้แก่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านผังเมืองหรือผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเรียนการสอนด้านการผังเมืองในประเทศไทย ผลการศึกษาจากการรวบรวมหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนด้านผังเมืองในประเทศไทยปัจจุบันพบว่าเปิดสอนทั้งหมด 10 สถาบัน มีหลักสูตรรวมทั้งสิ้น 19 หลักสูตร แบ่งเป็น 2 ระดับ ได้แก่ หลักสูตรระดับปริญญาบัณฑิต และหลักสูตรระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา หลักสูตรในช่วงแรกเป็นหลักสูตรในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งทั้งสองหลักสูตรมีอิทธิพลต่อการก่อตั้งหลักสูตรในสถาบันอื่น ๆ ต่อมา ผลการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนที่ส่งผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงการเรียนการสอนผังเมืองในอนาคต แสดงให้เห็นว่า การกระจายอำนาจสู่ท้องถิ่น เป็นปัจจัยระดับสากลที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงมากที่สุด ในขณะที่สถานการณ์ในประเทศไทยพบว่าปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงมากที่สุด คือการเตรียมพร้อมเข้าสู่สังคมสูงอายุ ทั้งนี้ สามารถสรุปข้อเสนอแนะในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรด้านผังเมืองในอนาคตของประเทศไทยที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์ได้ว่าแนวทางการปรับตัวของหลักสูตรด้านการผังเมืองในอนาคตได้แก่ 1) การปรับการเรียนการสอนให้เป็นการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต (Lifelong learning) 2) การยึดมั่นในหลักการของการผังเมือง 3) การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนเป็นเป้าหมายสำคัญ 4) การเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อการปรับเนื้อหาบนความไม่แน่นอน 5) การปรับหลักสูตรให้ตอบโจทย์กับความต้องการของตลาดวิชาชีพมากขึ้น และ 6) การสร้างเครือข่ายสู่ระดับนานาชาติ งานวิจัยนี้จึงมีข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับทิศทางของการจัดการเรียนการสอนในยุคปัจจุบัน ซึ่งเน้นการสร้างทักษะในศตวรรษที่ 21 จึงควรเพิ่มเติมทักษะทางด้านความเข้าใจความต่างวัฒนธรรมต่างกระบวนทัศน์ ซึ่งจำเป็นสำหรับบุคลากรด้านการผังเมืองในอนาคต ในปัจจุบันสถาบันการศึกษาต่าง ๆ สามารถจัดการเรียนการสอนได้อย่างอิสระโดยไม่จาเป็นต้องยึดโยงกับแนวทางขององค์กรวิชาชีพ จึงสามารถคาดหวังหลักสูตรที่มีความหลากหลายมากขึ้นในอนาคตได้ แต่ทั้งนี้ก็ควรจะต้องสอดคล้องกับมุมมองทิศทางของวิชาชีพด้วย เนื่องจากการเรียนการสอนด้านการผังเมืองมีเนื้อหาที่ต้องสะท้อนทั้งมิติของวิชาชีพและวิชาการไปพร้อมกัน
