In this paper, the rotary oscillation of a rigid sphere in an incompressible couple stress fluid is studied. The classical no slip boundary conditions are imposed on spherical boundary. Moreover, it is assumed that the couple stresses on the boundary of the sphere vanish. In the present study, the motion is generated by a sudden rotary oscillation of the rigid sphere about an axe passing through its center with a time-dependent angular velocity. Ceramic superconducting samples of type (nano-Ag)xCu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Ca2Cu3O10-δ, 0.0 ≤ x ≤ 3.0 wt.%, were successfully synthesized via single step solid-state reaction technique at 850 ºC and under ambient pressure. The samples were characterized by XRD and SEM. Obtained data revealed that the highest grains connectivity volume fraction was detected for the sample with x = 0.15 wt.%. The electrical properties of the prepared samples was examined using the electrical resistivity measurements, and the results proved that the highest superconducting transition temperature Tc was observed at x = 0.15 wt.%. This paper examines the possible reasons that stormwater management system operators (typically municipalities) have generally been reluctant to adopt RTC technology.

Our interdisciplinary team of law faculty, engineering faculty, and graduate students from both disciplines studied dozens of examples involving RTC implementation in the United States and abroad. We also examined the literature detailing institutional barriers to RTC innovation. Finally, we reviewed numerous legal decisions related to municipal liability for stormwater management (or mismanagement).

Contingency bases are often located in remote areas with limited access to established infrastructure grids. This isolation leads to standalone systems comprised of inefficient, resource-dependent infrastructure, which yields a significant logistical burden, creates negative environmental impacts, and increases costs. Planners can mitigate these negative impacts by selecting sustainable technologies. However, such alternatives often come at a higher procurement cost and mobilization requirement. Accordingly, this study aims to develop and implement a novel infrastructure sustainability assessment model capable of optimizing the tradeoffs between environmental and economic performance of infrastructure alternatives.

This paper presents a new formula of twist multiplier for plied yarns. The study concerned the influence of several parameters such as: Fiber parameters, the bottom twist, single yarn liear density of plies. The experiments carried out on Ring-Spun plied cotton yarns and theoretical analysis based on the idealized yarn structure. The results obtained with predicted formula show a constant twist multiplier for all plied yarns.
