This study uses the window-method for merging the gravity field wavelengths inside the remove-restore technique (RRT) to get the gravimetric geoid for Egypt using Helmert's models of condensation. In this case, the window approach (Abd-Elmotaal and Kühtreiber, 2003) was utilized to avert taking the topographic-condensation masses into account twice inside the data frame. A gravimetric geoid for Egypt has been calculated utilizing Helmert's first and second condensations approach and Airy- Heiskanen model. This study aims to develop an unconditionally stable numerical scheme for the equalwidth wave equation. An unconventional finite difference discretization is employed to accomplish this. The John von Neumann methodology is used to examine the stability of the suggested method, and the suggested scheme's precision is established. Numerical results with comparisons are shown to demonstrate the viability of the suggested approach for the equal-width wave equation.

Searchable encryption techniques are intelligent tools that attempt to solve the challenge of querying stored data on untrusted cloud servers while preserving data confidentiality. This paper proposes simple, powerful, and practical Searchable Symmetric Encryption (SSE) scheme which capable of executing SQL (Structural Query Language) queries over encrypted cloud databases. Our scheme improves the efficiency of the search over encrypted data by using the SCKHA (Symmetric Cipher based on Key Hashing Algorithm) algorithm instead of using the bloom filter technique which causes the problem of the false positives. A proposed design of graphene-based hybrid plasmonic waveguide is presented to improve the propagation length with a good confinement. The suggested design has multilayers of SiO2–graphene/ SiO2– GaAs – graphene/ SiO2. The full vectorial finite element method (FVFEM) is used to study the effective index (neff), propagation length (Lp), and normalized effective mode area (Aeff) of the supported hybrid plasmonic modes. In this investigation, the structure geometrical parameters are studied to achieve an ultra-small effective mode area with low propagation loss. The article explores secrecy, more particularly, nuclear secrecy in relation to two nuclear facilities situated at the tip of the Norman peninsula of La Hague, in France. Both sites - the CSM nuclear waste repository and the close-by refueling plant - were developed at the end of the 1960s in connection with France’s extensive civil and military nuclear program. While institutional archives and access to the sites remain tedious, the article contends that the nuclear secrecy shielding the facilities can be approached by unpacking the numerous accidents that took place at the site. Steel H-piles are exposed during their service life to wet-dry cycles in combination with salts, such as deicing, that may result in corrosion, leading to cross-sectional loss and reduction in axial load-carrying capacity. This paper proposes an innovative repair method for corroded steel H-piles using ultrahigh-performance concrete (UHPC) plates. The UHPC plates are reinforced with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) grids. The UHPC plates bridge the corroded segment so that the axial force bypasses the corroded segment. Many studies have targeted local climate stressors and the flux of longshore currents as factors for erosional and accretional changes on these islands, but little attention is paid to the degradation of their vegetative dune-systems as a contributor to their shoreline morphology (Hanley et al., 2014; Smith, 2018; Byrnes, 2010). In this paper, incorporating the waste latex paint (WLP) into the conventional concrete as a partial replacement of sand to improve its durability was investigated. The fresh and hardened characterizations, in addition to the durability of concrete, were examined. The slump test was used to evaluate the fresh properties, while the hardened properties were evaluated through the volume of voids and absorption rate, in addition to the compressive, splitting tensile, and flexural strengths tests. This experimental study investigates the possibility of using a combination of solid activators to produce dry powder geopolymer cement. Fly ash (FA) and/or ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) were employed as precursors. Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate (NSP), calcium hydroxide (CH) and sodium carbonate (NC) were used as alkaline solid activators. The early 18^th century historic fortification system that surrounded the urban town of Charleston has been a focus of excavations and historical research within the past two decades. However, while the outline of early Charleston’s walled city is hypothesized through the analysis of historic maps and plats, very few fortification locations have been visually confirmed. In order to determine their accuracy, this thesis georeferenced eleven historic maps and four plats to the modern landscape.
