The research thesis titled, “Performance as therapy: An intervention for adults with developmental disabilities” examined how adults with developmental disabilities (DD) respond to this specific dance/movement therapy intervention. It shows how this intervention method addresses the psychosocial goal of increasing interpersonal skills. The research took place at a day rehabilitation center, located in Chicago, IL. The co-researchers are participants of a day rehabilitation program, which offers creative arts therapies. The co-researchers are both male and female who range in age from 21 to 60. Caucasian, African American and Hispanic ethnic backgrounds are represented. Co-researchers have DD, which include diagnoses of …

As the search for the fortune plays out the question becomes who is really crazy, the residents of the sanatorium or Ethel’s stepchildren.

The Three Musketeers was directed by Professor Colin Johnson and produced on the Morgan Stage at Utah State University in April of 2011. The earliest meetings for The Three Musketeers occurred in January 2011. The first big concern was the cinematic nature of the script by Ken Ludwig. This script required twenty different physical locations with very little space textually to transition between these locations. The best way to contend with this challenge was to create a world representative of the culture and feel of France during the 1620s. Fight or Flight is a one-act, science-fiction opera. Outwardly the story of an astronaut who is marooned on the Moon, this dark comedy is an allegorical tale of forced isolation and loss; and of the anxiety and sadness that inevitably result. Augusto Boal y su esposa, la actriz y psicoanalista argentina Cecilia Thumin Boal vivieron en Brasil hasta el año 1971, cuando fueron a la Argentina, después que Boal fue preso por la represión de la dictadura militar en Brasil. En Argentina Boal siguió desarrollando su investigación sobre las formas participativas de teatro. En este artículo se habla de teatro argentino contemporáneo, especialmente Teatro Comunitario y el Teatro del Oprimido.
