Background: 1,600,000 patients develop a hospital-acquired pressure injury every year, and 23% of these originate during surgery. Research has demonstrated that the incidence of hospital-acquired pressure injuries developing during surgery has risen over the past 5 years. This rise has been attributed to nurse circulators exhibiting poor knowledge regarding best practices for intraoperative patient positioning and intraoperative documentation that does not follow standards of care.

The following databases were searched for papers published before December 2022: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Ebscohost. This article addresses a rare postoperative complication of persistent bleeding and “liver clot” coagulum following placement of a permanent tooth pre-formed metal crown, an extraction of a carious permanent molar, and an accelerated exfoliating primary molar in an individual with medical compromise, all in young patients. Mild bleeding following dental procedures or tooth exfoliation is not an unusual occurrence; however, persistent bleeding is an uncommon event for patients. Indirect pulp caps (IPCs) and pulpotomies are forms of vital pulp therapy. These procedures are performed on young patients who have deep cavities due to bacterial biofilm damage; however, the two are performed and utilized differently. The less severe of the two procedures is an IPC. This is when decayed dentin is covered with biocompatible material to avoid pulp exposure. The more severe procedure, the pulpotomy, is when the inflamed coronal pulp tissue is removed either partially or fully to save any remaining pulp tissue. Delayed eruption of permanent teeth can be caused by numerous factors including nutritional deficiencies, tooth positioning, presence of supernumerary tooth, or presence of a cyst impeding eruption. The keys to identifying the cause of delayed eruption are good clinical and radiographic exam, along with obtaining a complete and accurate history from the patient and parent. The presence of an SMMCI tooth may be an isolated finding or may be associated with other anomalies such as Holoprosencephaly (HPE). Methods: A total of 1013 CBCT images were reviewed in detail from the electronic patient database. The patient’s age, gender, CBCT indications and acquisition sites, referral departments, reason for referral, incidental findings in the imaging field and the presence of artifacts in the CBCT images were all recorded. Methodology: A cross sectional study was conducted. Self-administered structured questionnaire ( PSDQ) contains 32 statements regarding different parent reactions to child behavior, and participants rated responses to each item using a five-point likert scale from “never” to “always” (coded 1 to 5).The target population consisted of 105 children with their parents in Faculty of Dentistry, Future University aged 3-6 years old.
