The aim of this systematic review was to compare the root‐coverage outcomes of using a partially exposed connective tissue graft (CTG) technique with a fully covered CTG technique for root coverage. An electronic search up to February 28^th, 2017, was performed to identify human clinical studies with data comparing outcomes of root coverage using CTG, with and without a partially exposed graft. There is limited information on the oral health of Albanian immigrant population residing in the U.S. This creates a hinderance to developing and implementing appropriate dental care programs for the population. This study investigated oral health practices, beliefs, dental visits and associated factors of Albanian adults living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Purposive and snowball sampling methods were employed. Self-administered questionnaires were used to collect data on oral health practices, beliefs, dental visits and socio-demographic information. Objective

The aim of this study was to examine trends and racial/ethnic disparities in antibiotic prescribing practices of dentists in the United States.

Methods

The US Medical Expenditure Panel Survey data for 1996‐2013 was analyzed. Information on patient sociodemographic characteristics, dental visits, receipt of dental procedures, and type of antibiotics prescribed following visits was obtained. Descriptive statistics were calculated separately for each year. Logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify associations during the period with and without adjustment for dental procedures and sociodemographic characteristics. Survey weights were incorporated to handle the sampling design.

Intraosseous hemangiomas of the maxillofacial region are rare lesions that constitute less than 1% of all osseous tumors. A review of the literature on intraosseous hemangiomas of the skull and facial bones showed a limited number of publications, much of which were largely limited to case reports. This case report summarizes the workup and surgical treatment of a 39-year-old woman with an intraosseous hemangioma of the left frontal bone. The histology, treatment, and literature are reviewed.

Objective: The presence of good healthy behaviors among university students is imperative for their future life. This study aimed to compare positive health behaviors and state of happiness between the two genders of Bahria University (BU), Karachi, Pakistan.
Subjects and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at BU, Karachi, Pakistan. A total 813 students participated in this study. The healthquestionnaire, adapted from Health and Behavior Survey and the Subjective Happiness Scale, was used to assess self-reported happiness. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 22.

Objectives: To evaluate the root canal morphology of maxillary premolars.

Method: This retrospective study was conducted from November 2016 to January 2017 at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, and reviewed Cone Beam Computed Tomography images of maxillary first and second premolars done from November 2014 to October 2016. Frequency distribution of Vertucci's classification was determined. Chi square test was applied to determine any association between Vertucci's type and gender. SPSS 19 was used for data analysis.

The aim of this review was to analyze the potential of successful bonds of endodontic posts to radicular dentin as well as the limitations of the post–endodontic adhesive interface.

Methods

The MEDLINE/PubMed and Web of Science electronic databases were searched. The search was augmented by a manual search of the pertinent bibliographies.

The post–endodontic adhesive interface finds application in the endodontic cohesive units. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of a angioleiomyoma (vascular leiomyoma). A leiomyoma is an uncommon benign tumor of smooth muscle differentiation. True leiomyomas of the oral cavity are rare and most oral tumors are derived from the smooth muscle of walls of blood vessels. Therefore, they are called vascular leiomyomas or angioleiomyomas. Objectives: To determine the concentration of calcium, iron, manganese and zinc ions after the application of chelator to Enterococcus faecalis biofilms.

Material and Methods: Fifty bovine maxillary central incisors were prepared and inoculated with E. faecalis for 60 days. The following were used as irrigation solutions: 17% EDTA (pH 3, 7 and 10), 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) combined with 17% EDTA (pH 3, 7 and 10), distilled water (pH 3, 7 and 10), and 2.5% NaOCl.
