Objectives: To compare the accuracy of position and parallelity of two implants, using static and dynamic CAIS systems. Materials & Methods: 30 patients received two implants randomly allocated to 2 different CAIS systems. Optimal implant position and absolute parallelity was planned based on preoperative CBCT. Implants were placed using surgical guide (static CAIS, n = 15) and real time navigation (dynamic CAIS, n = 15). Implant 3-dimentional deviation and parallelity was calculated after surgery. The aim of this case series, is to describe our surgical technique for reconstructing benign mandibular neoplasms using BMAC – a less invasive approach than traditional iliac crest bone graft harvest.

BMAC was used in combination with mineralized freeze-dried allograft, platelet rich plasma (PRP) & bone morphogenic protein (rhBMP-2) to reconstruct the hard tissue lost secondary to the ablative tumor resection.

• 10 patients included in the retrospective case series were treated between 2014 and 2017 by 3 surgeons.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a well-recognized disease entity affecting approximately 2% to 4% of the population. Maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) surgery is a highly successful surgical alternative to poorly tolerated CPAP therapy and achieves a success rate of 89% in the current literature. Our present study evaluates the effectiveness of MMA surgery in the treatment of patients with moderate to severe OSA based on Shers criteria of 50% reduction in AHI and AHI < 20. Radiographic and clinical treatment variables were evaluated in determining predictors of success for MMA in individuals with OSA.

This study aimed to survey the attitudes and knowledge of Thai general dental practitioners (GDPs) in proving dental implant maintenance care. The online questionnaire was sent to Thai GDPs who graduated between 2000 and 2016. Of the returned 435 questionnaires, 429 completely filled were included for analysis. 76% of the participants were female and 24% were male. Half of the participants were aged 28-33 years old and 78% of the participants have been working as a GDP 10 years or below.
