Introduction: The aim of this study was to assess the efficiency of using dehydrated de-epithelialized amnion chorion membrane (ddACM) on socket preservation in the anterior region, clinically and radiographically.

Methods: 26 unrestorable maxillary anterior or single rooted premolars, with buccal fenestration, were selected. The socket was filled with allograft material and covered with ddACM for the test group, and allograft material with a collagen membrane for the control group divided equally. Clinical parameters including gingival healing and tissue thickness was assessed. Volumetric bone change was measured 4 months later using a CBCT.

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of edentulousness on the temporomandibular joint using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: In this study, CBCT images were evaluated in a total of 48 patients (24 dentulous, 24 edentulous). Ninety-six temporomandibular joint CBCT images were examined. Eminence inclination, condyle head widths and joint space were measured and statistically compared between the edentulous and dentulous groups. These foreign bodies can arise from many sources including several unique to the dental setting. Problem Ankyloglossia occurs when the tongue cannot extend past the gums or lips due to frenulum restriction. In breast feeding, proper movement of the tongue around the nipple is hindered causing difficulty for the infant to obtain a proper latch. This may result in slow weight gain (SWG), failure to thrive (FTT), and dehydration due to poor milk production. Evaluating for ankyloglossia is difficult, however, the Hazelbaker Ankyloglossia Tool for Lingual Frenulum Function (HATLFF) may be of benefit.

This is a Case Report of a 72 y/ old patient that was wearing two removable prostheses, a maxillary complete denture and a mandibular complete denture retained by two implants and locator attachments.
