A novel dataset and documentation containing spatially allocated estimates based on analysis of the 2017-21 ACS PUMS for counties in the State of Oregon. Analysis was performed by iterative adjustment to the ACS weights such that results were consistent with selected tables generated from the full ACS sample published by the US Census Bureau. The data are delivered in two pipe-delimited text files. Each row represents one county, and columns represent standard data fields described in the codebooks. For generations, the African American community has faced many forms of housing discrimination that have created major inequalities in their everyday lived experiences (Lockwood, 2020). This study explores the long-lasting effects of discriminatory housing policies in creating disparate housing conditions within the public housing community in Marin City called Golden Gate Village, as well as the role of the Marin Housing Authority in practices of displacement and neglect. Attitudes towards immigration have been shown to be driven by dehumanization and disgust. The more people dehumanize immigrants and the more disgusted they feel, the more negative attitudes they tend to have toward immigrants. However, little is known about how exposure to social media content that links dehumanization, disgust, and immigration influences users’ attitudes on this issue. This is important to consider because the majority of adults in the United States are on social media. Through three empirical essays, this work explored how information and communication technology (ICT) use shapes population health behaviors and outcomes, with a particular focus on older adults. The first essay critically investigated whether online communication can serve as a substitute for in-person social contact in mitigating loneliness among late middle-aged and older persons. The study finds that while excessive reliance on digital interaction correlated with higher loneliness in the general older adult population, it could potentially serve a protective function for those in poor health by reducing social isolation. This paper aimed to investigate the marriage and fertility intentions of Gen Z and Gen Y women living in Beijing, China, and examine the factors affecting their decisions regarding marriage and fertility intentions. I employed the method of in-depth interviews, conducting 20 interviews online between April and June 2025. The key findings reveal explicit attitudes among the women from Generation Y and Generation Z in Beijing. A qualitative analysis confirmed three major themes: (1) career-centered identity and the deprioritization of family planning; (2) fear of marriage and childbearing; and (3) awakening of individualism. การหย่าร้างของประชากรไทยวัยเจริญพันธุ์: ปัจจัยทางประชากรเศรษฐกิจสังคม และทัศนคติต่อความรุนแรงในครอบครัว, ปริยากร พันธุ์สุข

งานศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการหย่าร้าง ตลอดจนเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของปัจจัยดังกล่าวระหว่างเพศของประชากรไทยอายุ 15–49 ปี ภายใต้บริบทที่อัตราการหย่าร้างของประเทศไทยมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อโครงสร้างครอบครัวและสังคมในหลายด้าน ผู้วิจัยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากการสำรวจพหุดัชนีแบบจัดกลุ่ม (MICS6) ปี พ.ศ. 2565 โดยวิเคราะห์เฉพาะกลุ่มที่สมรสหรือเคยสมรส ผ่านแบบจำลองถดถอยโลจิสติก (Logistic Regression) ปัจจัยในการศึกษาแบ่งออกเป็น 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ปัจจัยทางประชากร ปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม และปัจจัยด้านทัศนคติต่อความรุนแรงในครอบครัว ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มผู้หย่าร้างส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในช่วงอายุ 40–49 ปี เคยสมรสครั้งแรกเมื่ออายุ 20–29 ปี มีบุตร 1 คน และอยู่ในภาคกลาง โดยเพศหญิงมักอยู่ในเขตเทศบาล ขณะที่เพศชายมักอยู่นอกเขตเทศบาล ทั้งสองเพศส่วนใหญ่ไม่ยอมรับความรุนแรงในครอบครัว แต่ในกลุ่มที่ยอมรับ ผู้หญิงมักอ้างถึงกรณีไม่เอาใจใส่บุตร ส่วนผู้ชายเกี่ยวข้องกับการไม่ดูแลบ้าน สำหรับปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการหย่าร้างนั้นพบว่า ทั้งสามกลุ่มปัจจัยมีความสัมพันธ์ในทั้งสองเพศ แต่ลักษณะความสัมพันธ์แตกต่างกัน ผู้วิจัยจำแนกเป็น (1) ปัจจัยที่มีทิศทางความสัมพันธ์เหมือนกัน ได้แก่ อายุแรกสมรส ดัชนีสินทรัพย์ และสิทธิการรักษาพยาบาล (2) ปัจจัยที่มีทิศทางต่างกัน ได้แก่ ระดับการศึกษา และเขตที่อยู่อาศัย และ (3) ปัจจัยที่มีผลเฉพาะเพศ ได้แก่ ภูมิภาค จำนวนบุตร และทัศนคติต่อความรุนแรงในครอบครัว และจากผลการศึกษา ภาครัฐควรพัฒนานโยบายที่ครอบคลุมตลอดวงจรชีวิตครอบครัวในลักษณะป้องกัน ปรับปรุง และบรรเทา เช่น การชะลอการแต่งงานก่อนวัย ขยายโอกาสทางการศึกษา เป็นต้น

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาวะการทำงานของสตรีวัยแรงงานในครัวเรือน ไทยในช่วงสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโควิด-19 โดยมุ่งศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลง ของอัตราการมีงานทำปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อโอกาสในการเข้าถึงอาชีพ รายได้ และ ประสิทธิภาพแรงงานของสตรีไทยในช่วงเวลาการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด-19 งานวิจัยนี้ ใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากการสำรวจภาวะเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของครัวเรือน พ.ศ. 2562 2564 และ 2566 ที่จัดเก็บโดยสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ และวิเคราะห์ด้วยแบบจำลองถดถอยโลจิสติกส์ ถดถอยโลจิสติกพหุ และถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อัตราการมีส่วนร่วมในกำลังแรงงานของสตรีมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นอย่าง ชัดเจนในช่วงหลังการระบาด โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มแรงงานที่มีการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีขึ้นไป อย่างไรก็ตามยังพบความเหลื่อมล้ำตามระดับทักษะ พื้นที่อยู่อาศัย และภาระดูแลครอบครัว โดยปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อโอกาสในการทำงานและรายได้ของแรงงานสตรี ได้แก่ อายุ การศึกษา สถานภาพสมรส จำนวนชั่วโมงทำงาน การมีเด็กในครัวเรือน และสถานะการเป็นหัวหน้า ครัวเรือน โดยเฉพาะแรงงานสตรีในเขตเมืองมีแนวโน้มเข้าสู่อาชีพที่ใช้ทักษะสูงมากกว่า กลุ่มในพื้นที่ชนบท ในด้านประสิทธิภาพแรงงานซึ่งวัดจากค่าตอบแทนต่อชั่วโมง พบว่าได้รับ อิทธิพลจากระดับการศึกษา ระดับทักษะ จำนวนชั่วโมงทำงานและภาระดูแลเด็ก ในครัวเรือน สรุปได้ว่าการลงทุนในทุนมนุษย์ส่งผลต่อโอกาสเชิงบวกในการเข้าถึงอาชีพที่ใช้ระดับทักษะ วิชาชีพและสูง ระดับรายได้รวมถึงประสิทธิภาพแรงงาน หากแต่ความเหลื่อมล้ำเชิงภูมิศาสตร์ และภาระการดูแลสมาชิกในครัวเรือนยังเป็นปัจจัยเชิงลบที่ส่งผลต่อภาวะการทำงานของแรงงาน สตรีไทยในบริบทการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด-19

การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชากรต่างรุ่นในประเทศไทย, พลัฏฐ์ อำไพ

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอายุ รุ่นประชากร และปัจจัยระดับปัจเจกบุคคลอื่นๆ กับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชากรไทยในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2549–2562 โดยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากโครงการสำรวจ Asian Barometer (ABS) จำนวน 4 รอบการสำรวจ (ปี พ.ศ. 2549 2553 2557 และ 2562) รวมกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งสิ้น 4,626 ราย การศึกษามุ่งเน้นการวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลของปัจจัยด้านประชากร ได้แก่ “อายุ” และ “รุ่นประชากร” ต่อรูปแบบการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองในลักษณะต่างๆ โดยเลือกใช้แบบจำลองทางสถิติที่เหมาะสมกับลักษณะของตัวแปรตามแต่ละด้าน ได้แก่ การไปใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งใช้ Binary Logistic Regression การมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมการเลือกตั้งใช้ Zero-inflated Poisson Regression การทำกิจกรรมทางการเมืองใช้ Zero-inflated Negative Binomial Regression และการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองรวมใช้ Poisson Regression ในการวิเคราะห์ เพื่อให้สะท้อนพลวัตของพฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วมในแต่ละมิติอย่างรอบด้าน ผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็น (1) “ผลกระทบของอายุ” (Age Effect) โดยพบว่า อายุมีความสัมพันธ์กับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองในทุกรูปแบบ โดยระดับการมีส่วนร่วมเพิ่มขึ้นในช่วงวัยกลางคนและลดลงในวัยสูงอายุ (2) “ผลกระทบของรุ่นประชากร” (Cohort Effect) มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วม โดยเฉพาะในช่วงต้นของชีวิต ซึ่งสะท้อนกระบวนการขัดเกลาทางการเมืองภายใต้บริบททางการเมือง สังคม และเศรษฐกิจที่แตกต่างกัน และถึงแม้อิทธิพลของรุ่นประชากรจะลดลงเมื่ออายุมากขึ้นแต่ผลของกระบวนการขัดเกลาก็จะยังไม่จางหายไป โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของคนที่เกิดในรุ่นทศวรรษ 1980-2000 จะมีแนวโน้มเริ่มต้นเร็วและหลากหลาย รุ่นที่เกิดทศวรรษ 1970 จะเปลี่ยนแปลงตามวัยชัดเจน ขณะที่รุ่นเกิดก่อนทศวรรษ 1960 จะมีแนวโน้มคงที่หรือลดลงเมื่ออายุมากขึ้น (3) “ผลกระทบของช่วงเวลา” (Period Effect) สะท้อนอิทธิพลของบริบททางการเมือง สังคม และเหตุการณ์สำคัญว่าส่งผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ และ (4) เมื่อวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบตามรุ่นประชากร ยังพบว่า ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรอิสระกับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองยังแตกต่างกันในแต่ละรุ่นประชากร โดย “ความสนใจทางการเมือง” เป็นปัจจัยเชิงบวกที่สำคัญร่วมกันในทุกรุ่น ขณะที่ “การอาศัยในเขตเมือง” มักมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบ และยังพบว่าอิทธิพลของอายุ การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ต และการพูดคุยเรื่องการเมืองในครอบครัว ล้วนส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วมแตกต่างกันตามบริบทของแต่ละรุ่นประชากรจากผลการศึกษา การใช้ “รุ่นประชากร” …

การวิจัยเรื่อง “การศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง มิติสุขภาพ การมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคม และพฤติกรรมสุขภาพ ต่อความสุขของผู้สูงอายุไทย” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมิติพฤติกรรมสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุกับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมิติด้านประชากรศาสตร์ของผู้สูงอายุไทยในรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย กับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมิติด้านสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุไทยที่มีลักษณะติดบ้าน ติดเตียง และติดสังคม กับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ 4) เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลระหว่างผู้สูงอายุไทยที่ประเมินว่าตนเองมีสุขภาพไม่แข็งแรงและมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคมหรือรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย กับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ และ 5) เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลระหว่างเพศของผู้สูงอายุไทยกับมิติการมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคม เพศของผู้สูงอายุไทยกับรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย และมิติสุขภาพกับรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย ที่ส่งผลต่อระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) งานวิจัยนี้ใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ (Secondary Data) จากสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติในการสำรวจประชากรสูงอายุในประเทศไทย พ.ศ. 2564 กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ที่มีอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 33,828 คน และได้ดำเนินการทดสอบความน่าเชื่อถือของการวิเคราะห์ (Robustness Tests) เช่น การตรวจสอบปัญหา Multicollinearity และ Heteroscedasticity เป็นต้น จากการวิเคราะห์พบว่าแบบจำลอง Heteroscedastic Linear Regression เหมาะสมกับงานวิจัยนี้เนื่องจาก Heteroscedastic Linear Regression ให้ค่าความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานที่ถูกต้อง โดยไม่เกิดอคติของค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ต่าง ๆ ทำให้การอนุมานผลทางสถิติมีความน่าเชื่อเชื่อถือ และให้ค่าพารามิเตอร์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้การวิจัยนี้ใช้ Maximum Likelihood estimation (MLE) โดยให้ค่าประมาณที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ปัจจัยด้านประชากรศาสตร์ เช่น เพศ อายุ และระดับการศึกษา เป็นตัวกำหนดความสุขที่สำคัญ โดยผู้สูงอายุเพศหญิง ผู้สูงอายุที่มีระดับการศึกษาสูง และผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพดี มีแนวโน้มที่จะมีระดับความสุขมาก ปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อการเพิ่มระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุไทย โดยผู้สูงอายุที่มีรายได้สูง หรือผู้สูงอายุที่มีสิทธิเข้าถึงสุขภาพในกลุ่มข้าราชการหรือข้าราชบำนาญ หน่วยงานอิสระของรัฐ องค์การปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น พบว่ามีความสุขอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ นอกจากนี้ ผู้สูงอายุที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางสังคม เช่น การเป็นสมาชิกและหรือเข้าร่วมของกลุ่ม/ชมรม รับการสนับสนุนทางสังคม พบกว่ามีระดับความสุขที่สูงขึ้นอย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ อีกทั้งการอาศัยอยู่กับสมาชิกในครอบครัว ไม่ว่าจะอาศัยอยู่กับคู่สมรส บุตร หลาน ญาติ และบุคคลอื่น ๆ …

The study explores the influence of remittance on healthcare expenditure focusing on household individuals’ outpatient cost by utilizing secondary data from the 2015 Myanmar Poverty and Living Condition Survey (MPLCS). Our study employs descriptive statistics and Ordinary Least Squares regression (OLS) model to analyze the effects of remittance characteristics and household factors on outpatient cost. Findings show that remittance amount and frequency are not significant predictors, but some remittance source countries, Japan and the USA, are associated with higher outpatient costs. The LeDroit Park Photograph Collection is a limited edition of ten (10) 12" x 12" gelatin silver print photographs capturing the revitalized LeDroit Park and its surroundings, taken in 2003 by Steven M. Cummings. The LeDroit Park Initiative, spearheaded in the late 1990s by then-Howard University President H. Patrick Swygert and Ms. Jamie Gorelick, Vice Chair of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), aimed to renovate and redevelop Howard University-owned properties within the LeDroit Park area. The initiative also explored innovative mortgage rates and payment assistance programs to enhance homeownership opportunities for the university-affiliated and neighboring community. Notably, the …
