In May 2023, amidst the fanfare and outcries over ChatGPT, Google quietly rolled out early access to new features in Search Labs, a user-based experimental testing ground for Search Generative Experience (SGE). Google pitches SGE as a new way of searching that uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to “understand a topic faster, uncover new viewpoints and insights, and get things done more easily,” but later adds that it also helps make “complex purchase decisions faster and much easier.”2 Interested users can simply tap the Labs icon in Google Chrome or a Google search on an Android device to sign up. …

Gray literature (GL) often contains valuable, unique knowledge but is sometimes difficult to source, collect, and preserve. Institutional repositories can serve as excellent platforms for such material due to their open accessibility for anyone with an internet connection. This chapter includes a brief discussion about gray literature as a material type in libraries generally and covers the partnership of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries with the Textile Society of America and the Centre for Textile Research that has resulted in the publishing of the groups’ conference papers. The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) is a widely implemented classification system in most libraries. However, its usage has declined over the past four decades, and libraries are advised to undergo reclassification. Digital transformation assessment has not received full attention and is still rarely carried out by art galleries/museums in Indonesia. Digital transformation research on library and information science (LIS) that covers GLAM's concept focuses more on libraries, archives, and museums, while art galleries are scarce, especially in Indonesia. This study aims to conduct a digital transformation assessment of art galleries, especially the National Gallery of Indonesia (Galnas). The goal of this study is to learn how postgraduate students in Nigeria's university libraries perceive and use serial resources. The study used a descriptive survey as its method. 295 postgraduate library and information science students from four South-East regional institutions two state universities and two federal universities make up the research population. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. Based on the study's goals, a questionnaire was created. The study explored the stages of pregnancy at which pregnant women seek information from various sources and the challenges pregnant women encounter in seeking information. A Mixed-method approach was used to carry out the study. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 148 pregnant women from three hospitals namely, Tamale Teaching Hospital, Tamale West Hospital, and the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital, Interviews were conducted with three midwives, one from each hospital, and a Gynecologist at the Tamale Teaching Hospital. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Skills of Professional Staff Working in University Libraries in Rayalaseems, Andhra Pradesh: A Study was conducted. In the Andhra Pradesh region of Rayalaseema, there are approximately 11 universities, including State and Deemed institutions. The study area of universities employs 60 library personnel. Data were gathered using the census sampling approach and a structured questionnaire. In addition, the researcher made personal visits and used the study's observation method to evaluate the criteria and selection of the sample universities, as well as the status and ICT proficiency of library professional staff employed in university libraries.
