Pengendalian gulma pada budidaya padi sawah sistem tanam benih langsung perlu dilakukan karena menyebabkan penurunan hasil. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah herbisida Natrium Bispiribak dosis rendah dapat mengendalikan gulma pada sistem tanam benih langsung padi sawah. Percobaan dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai bulan Agustus 2019, di Kecamatan Leuwimunding, Kabupaten Majalengka. Rancangan percobaan disusun dalam bentuk Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan tujuh perlakuan dan empat kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu dosis herbisida Natrium bispiribak 12, 18, 24, 30, dan 36 g/ha serta kontrol adalah penyiangan mekanis dan tanpa pengendalian gulma. Kultivar ICCRI 08 H merupakan kultivar unggul baru kakao yang tetap harus dipelihara selama pembibitan. Pupuk anorganik yang digunakan untuk menyediakan nutrisi bibit dapat menyebabkan pemadatan tanah, sehingga perlu suplai nutrisi alami, seperti nutrisi yang berasal dari air kelapa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat air kelapa dan pengurangan dosis urea dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit kakao. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Ciparanje, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran, Kabupaten Sumedang. Pupuk Bokashi dapat meningkatkan kesuburan tanah melalui pembentukan agregat tanah sehingga dapat memperbaiki struktur tanah. Penambahan Trichoderna harzianum pada bokashi dapat mempercepat proses dekomposisi, menjaga kesuburan media, dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kombinasi Trichoderma harzianum dan pupuk bokashi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga kultivar kedelai. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pada dua faktor terhadap tiga kultivar kedelai (Ringgit, Wilis, dan Anjasmoro) dengan kombinasi Trichoderma harzianum dan Bokashi 0 t/ha, 5 t/ha, 10 t/ha, dan 15 t/ha. The limited number of recombinant events in recombinant inbred lines suggests that for a biparental population with a limited number of recombinant inbred lines, it is unnecessary to genotype the lines with many markers. For genomic prediction and selection, previous studies have demonstrated that only 1000–2000 genome-wide common markers across all lines/accessions are needed to reach maximum efficiency of genomic prediction in populations. Evaluation of too many markers will not only increase the cost but also generate redundant information. Fenomena perubahan iklim mempengaruhi distribusi hujan yang tidak merata. Kelebihan air hujan di lahan akan menyebabkan genangan air karena sistem drainase lahannya kurang baik yang berdampak terganggunya pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tebu. Dalam kondisi tergenang (G), jumlah anakan beberapa genotip tebu menurun bila dibandingkan dengan kondisi tanpa genangan (TG) pada 77 hari setelah penggenangan (HSP), kecuali genotip tebu GMP1. Jumlah anakan tersebut berkisar antara 6,7 untuk genotip KK sampai 10,3 anakan untuk genotip GMP1. Sedangkan pada kondisi tanpa genangan kisaran jumlah adalah 8 untuk genotip PS864 sampai 13,7 untuk genotip KK. Kondisi genangan air juga telah menurunkan nilai konduktansi stomata …

Perubahan iklim dapat menimbulkan ancaman bagi kegiatan pertanian karena berdampak terhadap kenaikan frekuensi dan intensitas kejadian cuaca ekstrem, perubahan pola hujan, serta peningkatan suhu udara dan kenaikan permukaan air laut. Penoxsulam merupakan herbisida yang dapat mengendalikan gulma rumput, teki, dan daun lebar dengan cara menghambat enzim acetolactate synthase. Percobaan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan dari herbisida penoxsulam 25 g/L dalam mengendalikan gulma teki dan daun lebar pada budidaya padi sawah sistem pindah tanam. Percobaan dilakukan di lahan petani pad sawah Desa Pasirjengkol, Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok menggunakan 6 perlakuan (4 dosis uji dan 2 kontrol) dan empat ulangan. Penanaman gandum dari dataran medium sampai ke rendah memiliki kendala, salah satunya yaitu cekaman suhu tinggi. Pemupukan silika merupakan usaha yang dapat dilakukan agar tanaman gandum tahan terhadap cekaman suhu tinggi. Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is one of the most important forage crops throughout the world. Maximizing leaf retention during the haymaking process is critical for achieving superior hay quality and maintaining biomass yield. Leaf abscission process affects leaf retention. Previous studies have largely focused on the molecular mechanisms of floral organ, pedicel and seed abscission but scarcely touched on leaf and petiole abscission. This study focuses on leaf and petiole abscission in the model legume Medicago truncatula and its closely related commercial species alfalfa.
