Some design parameters of a hydrazine-oxygen fuel battery operating in a zero G field are described in a digital computer programming treatment. The power balance for a battery employing a gas-producing electrode and an electrolyte pump is treated; optimum power densities and flow rates are established.

The Magnetocardiogram A New Approach To The Fields Surrounding The Heart, R. A. Stratbucker, C. M. Hyde, S. E. Wixon

Experiments have been conducted which reveal the existence of a detectable magnetic field associated with cardiac electrical activity. The relationship between the magnetic record and the electrocardiogram has been explored and it is shown that under certain conditions of axis orientation the voltage induced into a toroidal sensing element around the heart has the form of the first time derivative of the electrocardiogram. A formula based on Maxwell's equations has been developed to relate these two phenomona.

This report has been prepared to describe the conditions of the landslide area on Interstate Route I-75 in Covington, Kentucky, since May 15, 1963, the date of an earlier status report. Subsurface data which has been collected and assembled during the past three months is also included. Possible corrective considerations have also been included in this report.
The rainfall data included in this report, as well as the previous status report (May 15, 1963), are the official 24-hour precipitation recorded by the U. S. Weather Bureau at the Greater Cincinnati Airport in Boone County, Kentucky. The airport is located approximately …

Aerial applications of both liquid and powder evaporation retardants have been made in parallel strips on large lakes for purposes of comparison. Films formed from powder spread more rapidly than did those from liquid, but usually both films ultimately spread to approximately equal widths and had the same degree of compression as determined with indicator oils. Evaporation retarding materials with large numbers of particles having diameters smaller than 75 microns are greatly affected by the wind. As the chemical is dispensed from the airplane. the fine particles drift with the wind and in some instances are carried onto the land …
