Generation Of Design Equations In Asynchronous Sequential Circuits, Gary K. Maki, James H. Tracey, Robert J. Smith

One step in the synthesis procedure for realizing an asynchronous sequential switching circuit is the generation of next-state and output state equations from a simplified and coded flow table description of the circuit. The usual approach for determining these equations is to first construct a state table from the coded flow table, and then construct transition and output tables. For large flow tables this can be quite a lengthy procedure. This note describes an algorithm which simplifies the synthesis procedure for normal fundamental-mode circuits by permitting the determination of these equations without explicit construction of the state table, transition table, …

An isomorphic relation exists between the transient response of systems whose transfer functions are of the form H(s)=B and the transient response of systems whose transfer functions are of the form [formula omitted]. Several interesting conclusions are drawn from this relationship concerning the transient response of distributed systems. Indiana Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Publications
The purpose of this report is to bring county bridge needs into focus-state-wide and county-by-county-through a detailed computerized inventory listing of all existing county bridges. Each county's inventory listing has been further summarized as to the number of bridges by length and width categories, along with an estimated replacement cost. This inventory report thus gives a measure and dimension to the county bridge problem. Hopefully this information will assist local road officials, legislative study groups, and members of the General Assembly in weighing alternate solutions to the financing of county bridge programs.

Our recent report on "Rational Analysis of Kentucky Flexible Pavement Criterion," November 1968, presented theoretical treatments of current design curves – which enabled transformation of the current curves into companion sets of curves embodying alternative proportions of bituminous concrete and dense-graded aggregate base. We are privileged now to submit additional analytical information and to offer recommendations for revising the present design criterion.

Power consuming accessories can be disconnected only when it is convenient for the operator to do so in practice. Additional weight can be added as ballast if the manufacturer regularly supplies it for sale.
