The purpose of this research is to explore how transformational leadership impacts organizational performance. We posit that transformational leadership is a significant indicator of organizational performance. This article suggests that executives who act as transformational leaders affect organizational outcomes. In particular, this article raises a vital question as to how managers can successfully contribute to performance at the organizational level. It highlights the potential consequences of applying transformational leadership.

Current evidence about successful organizations emphasizes the importance of integrated organizational factors that combine to convey a consistent message to employees that is the essence of an effective organizational culture (Beer, 2009; Shein & Schein, 2016). Although there is much that is positive about the achievements that some organizations are making to create a sustainable organizational culture, there is also overwhelming evidence that organizations and their leaders are struggling to earn the commitment and followership of their employees (Clifton & Harter, 2019; Edelman, 2023).

The importance of values has been continuously studied, and the consensus is that values matter. However, the issue of just how much they matter remains open to various interpretations, including the importance of value clarity and congruency. This study examined the impact of personal and organizational values clarity on commitment, performance, and motivation. An online survey involving 8,442 managers was collected in the same way as previous studies on value clarity and consistency (Posner & Schmidt, 1993; Posner, 2010), but unlike previous studies, managers outside the United States were included. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) is a federally-recognized tribe. The Family Safety Program (FSP) is the child welfare program that serves the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, under the tribal Division of Public Health and Human Services. FSP was established in 2015 with around 10 staff members and has grown to about 60 staff, all located in one office in Cherokee, North Carolina. Since FSP was a relatively new agency when they began working with the Quality Improvement Center for Workforce Development (QIC-WD), turnover had not been a signficant problem, however, vacancies were a challenge. Creativity is vital to corporate success in a global economy and contributes to employee work satisfaction. Grounded in constructivism, this dissertation advances arguments regarding how organizational policies and leader practices can support workplace creativity. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to gather insights into leaders’ perceptions of how creativity is fostered in the workplace and develop recommendations to support knowledge industry leaders in cultivating creativity. Families can now enjoy a new Storybook Trail on ETSU Health’s Johnson City clinic campus. The trail is an outdoor reading experience where families can interact through literacy and physical activity.

ETSU Health partnered with the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation and Ballad Health’s Department of Population Health to develop the trail. GELF’s Storybook Trail program presents a children’s storybook on child-height panels along a short trail with featured reading tips to promote adult-child interaction around books and nature.

Subsistence Marketplaces publishes studies that study consumers, entrepreneurs, and marketplaces from a broad range of low income contexts in their own right, transcending the boundaries between sectors and disciplines to derive practically meaningful implications. This paper contributes to accomplishing the mission of the new journal by contextualizing market learning theory to subsistence marketplaces. More specifically, the study links two modes of market learning (exploration and exploitation) with producers’ livelihood performance. It hypothesizes that within subsistence marketplaces, producers benefit the most from exploration but to seize a market opportunity beyond the subsistence context, BoP producers should strengthen their exploitative learning processes. …

This study draws from the literature on workplace diversity, cultural intelligence, and creativity to examine the relationship between diversity climate and employees’ behaviors. With data collected from three multinational enterprise subsidiaries that operated in China for over 25 years, this study reveals that employees’ metacognitive cultural intelligence is positively related to their perceived diversity climate, leading to creative behavior and citizenship altruism behavior. In addition, this study examines an important interpersonal factor that is sensitive to the Confucius culture, harmony, and finds it directly impact motivational cultural intelligence. This study aims to investigate the role of trust and website conversion in consumer responses to green product purchasing, with a new perspective through the lens of innovative website design's technology integration. To achieve this objective, an online survey was conducted with a sample of 384 consumers in Thailand. The results reveal that user trust in innovative website design are significant predictor website conversion in consumer responses to green product purchasing.
