โครงงานพิเศษฉบับนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อทำการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลาก เพื่อนำมาใช้ในการบริหารจัดการธุรกิจรับขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษาแห่งหนึ่ง โดยใช้เครื่องมือทางการเงินซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลด (Discounted Payback Period) มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดสุทธิ (NPV) อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุน (BC Ratio) อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการ (IRR) และการวิเคราะห์ความไว มาเป็นเกณฑ์ในการวัดความคุ้มค่าของโครงการว่าควรลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลากหรือไม่ ผลการวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลากในธุรกิจรับขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา มีความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถเพียง 1 คัน โดยมีระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลดของโครงการเท่ากับ 4.81 ปี มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดสุทธิ มีค่าเท่ากับ 3,294,788.24 บาท อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุน มีค่าเท่ากับ 6.27 เท่า และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการ มีค่าเท่ากับร้อยละ 29.67 และเมื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์ความไว โดยมีการกำหนดให้ผลตอบแทนลดลงร้อยละ 5 และ 10 ต่อปี และต้นทุนในการดำเนินงานเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 5 และ 10 ต่อปี พบว่า โครงการดังกล่าวยังมีความเป็นไปได้และน่าสนใจลงทุน โดยระยะเวลาคืนทุนยังอยู่ภายใต้ช่วงเวลาที่กำหนด มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดมีค่ามากกว่า 0 และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุนมีค่ามากกว่า 1 และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการมีค่ามากกว่าเกณฑ์ที่บริษัทคาดหวังทุกกรณี ยกเว้นกรณีที่ผลตอบแทนของโครงการลดลงร้อยละ 10 ต่อปีที่อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการมีค่าน้อยกว่าเกณฑ์ที่คาดหวังที่ทำให้โครงการนี้ไม่คุ้มค่าที่จะลงทุน

การวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัยเพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการจัดส่งครุภัณฑ์ของกองทัพเรือที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับการแจกจ่ายครุภัณฑ์สายพลาธิการของกองทัพเรือ รวมไปถึงเปรียบเทียบข้อดี ข้อเสีย และต้นทุนที่เกิดขึ้นของการจัดส่งครุภัณฑ์สายพลาธิการให้กับคลังสาขา ด้วยวิธีขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของกองทัพเรือเอง กับการว่าจ้างบริษัทเอกชนในการขนส่ง โดยทำการเก็บรวมรวมข้อมูลการดำเนินกิจกรรมขนส่งพัสดุสายพลาธิการให้กับคลังสาขาของกองทัพเรือในช่วงปี 2562 ประกอบกับการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกในรายละเอียดของข้อมูลต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับต้นทุนในวงจรชีวิตของยานพาหนะที่กองทัพเรือใช้ จากการศึกษาพบว่า ต้นทุนรวมของการขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเอง มีค่าใช้จ่ายที่สูงกว่าการขนส่งโดยว่าจ้างจากภายนอก 348,736.50 บาท ในปี 2562 (802,736.50 - 454,000 บาท) อย่างไรก็ตาม การขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเองมีข้อดีในด้านความรวดเร็ว คล่องตัวและมีความยืดหยุ่นในการใช้งาน จากการศึกษาพบว่าต้นทุนในส่วนของยานพาหนะรถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็กมีค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่สูง ประกอบกับบทสัมภาษณ์ความต้องการใช้ยานพาหนะของเจ้าหน้าที่ที่ปฏิบัติในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องเห็นว่ารถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็กยังมีความจำเป็นในการใช้ปฏิบัติราชการอยู่ ดังนั้น รูปแบบการขนส่งที่เหมาะสม คือ การขนส่งโดยว่าจ้างจากภายนอก ควบคู่การการขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเองด้วยยานหนะรถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็ก สำหรับการขนส่งระยะใกล้ (พื้นที่สัตหีบ)

งานวิจัยนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดเรียงและขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างการจัดเรียงพาเลทสินค้าชั้นเดียวบนรถบรรทุกโดยการบรรจุกล่องสินค้าลงบนพาเลทไม้ซึ่งเป็นวิธีที่ใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบันกับการจัดเรียงพาเลทสินค้าซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นวิธีใหม่โดยการนำกล่องสินค้าบรรจุลงในตะกร้าเหล็กแล้ววางตะกร้าเหล็กซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นบนรถบรรทุก งานวิจัยนี้ประกอบไปด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในอดีตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการขนส่งสินค้าและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับบุคคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดำเนินงานจัดเรียง จัดส่งและทำรับสินค้า แล้วนำข้อมูลที่รวบรวมได้นั้นมาคำนวณประมาณการความต้องการการขนส่งและต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการขนส่งเปรียบเทียบระหว่างวิธีการจัดเรียงสินค้าทั้ง 2 วิธี ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการจัดเรียงสินค้าจากการวางพาเลทสินค้าชั้นเดียวมาเป็นการจัดเรียงกล่องสินค้าลงตะกร้าเหล็กและจัดเรียงตะกร้าเหล็กซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นบนรถบรรทุกนั้น ช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการขนส่งได้ถึง 5,024,923 บาทต่อปีหรือประมาณ 52 เปอร์เซ็น ซึ่งสามารถนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางให้บริษัทกรณีศึกษานำไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงกระบวนการดำเงินงาน รวมถึงการจัดสรรทรัพยากรให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น เพื่อเป็นการช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายด้านการขนส่งสินค้า

Employee turnover costs companies billions of dollars annually and can damage business sustainability. Childcare managers who lack leadership strategies may struggle to reduce employee turnover. Grounded in the motivation-hygiene theory, the purpose of this qualitative single case study was to explore leadership strategies childcare managers in Polk County, Florida, use to reduce employee turnover. Data were collected through semistructured face-to-face interviews with 5 purposively selected childcare managers who have used leadership strategies to reduce employee turnover. The low productivity in organizations can cost millions of dollars in lost revenue. Low productivity is important to organizational leaders because it can lead to lower profits for businesses. Two studies were conducted to investigate whether personality traits serve as boundary conditions of the person-organization fit and turnover relationship, and whether continuous commitment may help explain why personality moderates the relationship between person-organization fit and turnover. The first study examines the effect of extraversion, neuroticism, and conscientiousness on the relationship between person-organization fit and turnover. The sample consisted of 1,251 office managers at a large, national organization. The second study follows up on the first study and examines the same relationships.
