This fact sheet packet, distributed by Women of All Red Nations (WARN), provides information and activity reports on a number of different topics including uranium mining and radiation, water rights and contamination, anti-draft information and the rights of prisoners. It includes reports from the South Dakota Penitentiary in Sioux Falls, the "Great Sioux Nation Meeting" in Pierre and the 36th Session of the Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland. The packet was distributed circa April 1980.

This brochure was created by the Rita Silk-Nauni Defense Committee, circa March 1980, to raise awareness and encourage financial support for the defense of Rita Silk-Nauni. On September 17, 1979, Rita was charged with the shooting of two Oklahoma City airport security officers following an incident of harassment involving her young son. The brochure gives details of the incident and following legal developments, alleging that Rita was targeted as a minority and has not received adequate funding to mount her self-defense case. The brochure also provides contact information for donations and letters of support.

Immigrants from Europe formed a major element in the population that settled the Great Plains in the nineteenth century; their descendants constitute the majority of persons in many parts of the region today. A century ago, as the agricultural frontier moved across central Nebraska onto what is considered the Great Plains, foreignborn persons consistently formed a much larger proportion of the inhabitants on the western edge of settlement than they did in the state as a whole. This one-page typed document, circa 1980, is a petition to the South Dakota State Supreme Court for Dick Marshall to receive a new trial. Dick Marshall, an Oglala Lakotah, was imprisoned on a charge of first-degree murder, but later a witness retracted her original testimony, stating she was pressured to accuse Marshall by the FBI. This petition proclaims the innocence of Marshall and demands a retrial.
