This subject culminates in our third year when our program’s psychotherapy supervisor asks each of us to create our own personal theory. It allowed us to explore and apply what we had learned up until this point and formulate our own understanding of why people are the way that they are, how people change, and how to facilitate that growth through our theory. This guide facilitates the delivery of a two-workshop sequence allowing students to understand how an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Large Language Model (LLM) composes poetry, and to use that knowledge to compose their own poem for optional display in both electronic and physical form. Students may participate in either/both workshops, and in each will engage in reflective work to understand how AI impacts them and vice versa. This guide and curriculum aligns with the "Contemporary Global Challenges, Creativity and Innovation" Participation in a Global Society outcome within the Geneseo GLOBE Curriculum.

清初詩人王士禛（1634-1711），執騷壇牛耳數十年，以神韻大倡天下，其內涵與來源引致清代詩論家的翕然討論。本文擬在學界研究的基礎上，就王士禛詩學神韻以外的部分進行考察，提出前代山左詩學傳統為其早期詩學重要來源這一新視角，並從接受、建構兩方面梳理王士禛與明代山左詩學傳統之關聯。第一章先介紹山左詩學傳統；第二章以王士禛評選山左掖縣詩歌《濤音集》、及其手批叔祖王象春（1578-1632）《問山亭詩集選》為主，分析王士禛早期如何受到山左詩學傳統的影響，兼談王士禛在接受過程中對山左格調詩學的反思；第三章則分析王士禛對明代山左詩學的建構，他以自己的詩歌審美理想重新敘述明代山左詩學，一是建構“明有古澹一派”，二是他對兩位明代山左詩壇標桿人物李攀龍（1514-1570）、邊貢（1476-1532）的討論；從這兩部分進一步窺見他建構山左詩學的方法與目的；最後從王士禛對《明詩綜》選錄山左詩人的話語干涉入手，一窺他如何提高明代山左詩人的詩史地位。

MY LAST CONCUSSION is a thesis consisting of a critical introduction, a number of poetic influences, and a collection of poems. The introduction touches on the themes of the collection, my personal history with my subject, my changing approach to poetry, and a brief evaluation of the work as a whole. It details my approach to Catholicism, paganism, transgender identity, and oppression. My work grapples with both my current understanding of myself and my inability to enunciate my reality in the past. I aim to view divinity and personal history through a lens of queerness.

This poem was recited at a marriage recently in Vermont. I met the groom in my freshman year. He was the first college friend I ever made, and he used to burst into the room like Cosmo Kramer and settle down in an easy-chair to think about math (my side of the dorm was quieter than his). I thought that was remarkable and delightful, and so, when the task came to write a matrimonial poem for him, I selected a mathematical conceit. The poem concludes with a mathematical paraphrasing of Philip Larkin's last line from Arundel Tomb.

Crown Shy explores the ripple effects of inheritance--somatic, psychological, and material--and how such inheritance constellates into our adult relations and relating. In three parts, the text undermines nuclear family imaginings, first by pulling them out by the root, and later through radical practice, formal constraint, and syntactic ambiguity. By studying the natural world--the organizing principles of trees, insects, and flowers--Crown Shy attempts to glean strategy from evidence of what is already thriving. This is a co-authored poem collection focusing on Thai American life. In Bilingual หมา Standard Poodle, interactions and observations are made between a Thai American family and their supportive standard poodle named Pumpkin. This poem interjects on the disaggregated Southeast Asian American experience with inclusion of a pet companion. In Last Name กู Too Long, a Thai American graduate student discusses with their mother the challenges of gaining employment. This poem brings attention to hiring bias in the screening and interview process.

This project is an experimentation in different craft and stylistic approaches to poetry. Each week, a different major contemporary poet was studied through one of their collections. Their work was analyzed and dissected to reveal some of the main stylistic choices they make to achieve their individual effect. After analysis, a handful of these elements were chosen to replicate in the author's own poems.
