Exploring Procrastination And Self-Regulated Learning Through Motivational Beliefs, Betsy Ng

Journal of Research Initiatives

This study investigated the relations among procrastination, motivational beliefs, and self-regulated learning with a sample of 8th and 9th grade Singaporean students (N = 442). It examined the role of procrastination on self-regulated learning through motivational beliefs in science using structural equation modelling. The results showed positive relations of procrastination with task value, self-efficacy and test anxiety, as well as use of learning strategies. In addition, t- test analyses revealed significant gender and grade level differences in motivational beliefs. Procrastination accounted for enough variation in motivational beliefs to emerge as a significant predictor, suggesting that procrastination could influence …

Stroke is brain attack due to vascular injury that can damage the brain permanently because of neurologist disorder. The purpose of this intervention is to improve patient's ability to wear bras according to Occupation Therapy's view. The method that will be used to improve the patient ability who suffer from function disorder, movement, and control due to the lesion in the central nerve system is Bobath Concept. Principals and assistant principals, collectively referred to as school leaders, play instrumental roles in ensuring the success of inclusive special education in the schools they oversee. However, school leaders continually report they lack the knowledge and skills to effectively oversee quality inclusive special education programs. There are very few training programs available to school leaders that focus on leading inclusive special education programs. The profile of university presidents has changed very little in the past twenty-five years, with the majority being white males (Kim & Cook, 2013). The presence of the ‘lavender ceiling’ (Friskopp & Silverstein, 1995) in higher education is evidenced in there being less than one percent of university presidents who openly identify as lesbian and gay (L&G) (Rivard, 2014). Colleges and universities continue to be largely heteronormative and struggle to create safe, supportive, and just campuses; mirroring instead the bias and microaggressions that occur outside the insulated walls of academia (Bazarsky, Morrow, & Javier, 2015; Vaccaro, 2012).

Adaptive Features Of Assimilating Organs Of Some Endemic Species Of The Juno In The Condition Of The Tashkent Botanical Garden, G.M Duschanova, N.K Rakhimova

The anatomical structure of the vegetative organs (leaf, leaf’s vagina) of three species of Juno (J. orchioides, J. svetlanae, J. magnifica) has been studied. The diagnostic features have been revealed: in the leaf - spongy type of leaf mesophyll; submerged, numerous stomata’s of anomocyitic type, their absence on the adaxial; parenchyma-bundle type of vagina leaf; the presence of a large, elongated epidermis on the adaxial side, however, in the vagina of the leaf - on the abaxial side; closed, collateral type of conducting beams. These identified structural features are characteristic of the species Juno.
