This report documents the substantive findings and management recommendations of a cultural resource inventory conducted by Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC (IES) for the Bear Creek Industrial Phase I project in Euless, Tarrant County, Texas. As the project will occur on the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport property, the DFW International Airport will need approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to modify their Airport Layout Plan (ALP) to reflect the permanent alterations. This is considered a federal action and will subsequently require compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). In …

0n December 2, 2014, an intensive archeological survey was completed in order to evaluate potential archeological impacts associated with the proposed construction of a new electrical substation within an approximately 20-acre (8-hectare) parcel in Little Elm, Denton County, Texas. Melissa M. Green (Principal Investigator) of Cox|McLain Environmental Consulting, Inc. (CMEC) carried out the survey for Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. (BEPC) and the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Utilities Service (USDA-RUS) under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), as amended. A Texas Antiquities Permit was not required.

(TAS) archeologists assessed the cultural resource potential of a 2.1-mile long, 100-foot wide West Texas Gas (WTG) Benedum EP 46-19 ROW and pump station on University Lands (UL) in north central Crockett County. The proposed ROWs consist of an E-W poly line (0.6-miles long) and a N-S steel line (1.5-mile long) starting at an existing station and running south and southeast to an extant gas plant. An archaeological survey of the proposed 209 acre City of Temple Recycling and Disposal Facility Expansion Project in Bell County, Texas was performed by Ed Baxter Consulting in January and February of 2015. Edward P. Baxter was the Principal Investigator and the Project Archaeologist. This study was carried out under Texas Antiquities Committee Permit Number 7143. The project area was investigated using the pedestrian survey method supported by shovel testing. In all, the project area consisted of 209 acres. The project involves the expansion of approximately 2.45 miles of FM 2478 from a two-lane undivided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway, the reconstruction of the existing bridge structures that span Wilson Creek and Rutherford Branch, and the realignment of approximately 0.54 mile of roadway from Rhea Mills Circle to FM 1461. This report documents the removal of individuals buried within Campbell’s Bayou Cemetery (41GV171) to avoid potential impact to the remains during implementation of remediation activities at the Malone Service Company Superfund Site (Site) in Texas City, TX. An oil recovery and waste processing facility had operated at the Site for more than 30 years, ending in the mid1990s. The facility had stored, processed, and disposed of industrial solid wastes and hazardous wastes. Coastal Environments Inc. (CEI) conducted a cultural resources remote-sensing survey of two areas adjacent to Shamrock Island, Nueces County, Texas. The northern-most of these covers 56.38 hectares (139.31 acres), while the southern-most survey area encompasses 44.8 hectares (110.69 acres). These are proposed locations of sand borrow areas to be used by the Nature Conservancy, Texas Coast Office for the Shamrock Island Restoration Project.
