This article presents a literature review on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in libraries and its impact on library operations. This study aims to provide researchers with a comprehensive understanding of AI in the library context. The research methodology involved utilising the Scopus database and identifying 66 relevant articles related to AI. After removing duplicates and applying filters, all 65 articles were reviewed, and their key findings and summaries are presented in this article. The information presented herein will serve as a valuable resource for researchers interested in exploring the use of AI in libraries.

The study examines of DESIDOC journal of Library and Information Technology during 2018- 2022.Data were collected by DESIDOC websites and download from journal DESIDOC journal of Library and Information Technologyhttps://publications.drdo.gov.in/ojs/index.php/djlit/index. Total numbers of 256 articles were published during 2018-2022. Data were analysed in MS excel worksheet for the research. The study revealed that the maximum articles are by two author 117 (45.70%) and maximum articles were 12 published volume 2 in 2019. Degree of Collaboration is 0.28. Finding of study show page length of Article were 7 pages long have the maximum with 71 (27.73%).

University Libraries at Coastal Carolina University acknowledges the importance of open access as a doorway to equity, access, and inclusion. In spring 2023, the library voted on and approved an open-access statement that encourages librarians to publish their work openly and to support faculty by providing guidance, encouraging the use of the institutional repository, and helping to fund the cost of open access.
