Diffusion Of Lifelong Learning Policy. The Case Of Recognition, Validation And Accreditation Of Learning Outcomes, Jungeun Lee, Talmadge C. Guy

The purpose of this study is to understand the diffusion and adoption of lifelong learning policy discourses at the global and national levels by examining the policies of recognition of learning outcomes across 35 countries in Europe, employing content analysis and statistical analysis. Findings, conclusions and limitations are discussed.

Young adults experience multiple transitions in their first year after college graduation including newcomer adjustment, the process of becoming integrated into a new job and organization during the first year of employment. In this paper we describe our empirical study of relationships among psychological capital (PsyCap), proactive behaviors, and newcomer adjustment outcomes.

The purpose of this study was to make short of reemploy ability needs scale. The results showed that the short version of the RANS contains six subscales, a total of 18 items, full-scale reliability was .91, explained variance 80.67%.

The purpose of this study is to better understand what leaders of local organizations mean by the phrase “changing people’s lives.” Three major themes emerged from the data, collected from interviews and organizational information, suggesting that people do make transformative changes in their lives and engagement with a philanthropic organization seems to facilitate the change process. Our research question was “How do staff members of local philanthropic organizations make meaning of the phrase in their mission statements ‘changing people’s lives.’”

This study explores the relevance of the concept of race in the South Asian American (SAA) experience in the United States using critical race theory and postcolonial theory. By telling the stories of SAAs, this study complicates the conceptualization of race and the black/white binary, and proposes strategies for antiracist praxis.
