Abstract

The study focused on library services and users’ satisfaction in academic libraries in Imo State, Nigeria. The study examined the extent of users’ satisfaction with library services in academic libraries in Imo State, Nigeria, the relationship between library exhibition/display and user education services. Three research questions were posed and two hypotheses were formulated for the study. Correlational design was adopted for the study while 4-point likert rating scale was used to elicit data. The paper aims to find out the present collection, services, and the main problems. The researcher deeply examined the four target libraries and described comparative analysis in different tables with various parameters. All target libraries provide similar types of user needs. Still, collaboration must be found within the target libraries, which is the researcher's main problem. Finally, the researcher prepared and proposed a centralized consortium model that can be very effective for the target libraries and may solve the problems.

This study investigated the provision of reference services and use of library information resources by undergraduates in universities in Bayelsa state, Nigeria. The study used a correlational survey research methodology, and the instrument for gathering data was a questionnaire. 17451 undergraduate students from the four universities in Bayelsa State made up the study's population, with a sample size of 349 representing 20% of the total population. 349 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and 346 were retrieved and found usable. This study investigated the strategies for curbing plagiarism by librarians in universities in the age of Information and Communication Technology in Nigeria. . The population comprised librarians in Universities in Nigeria. However, a total number of 15 Universities took part in the study and a random sampling technique was used to select 89 respondents. A self-constructed online questionnaire was designed and distributed to collect the data from the respondents. Nevertheless, 75 online questionnaires were valid and used for analysis.
