Background: Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are multifactorial conditions affecting masticatory systems. While occlusal morphology has been suggested as a contributing factor, functional, behavioral, and postural elements may play a more prominent role. This study aimed to evaluate demographic, clinical, occlusal, and functional characteristics associated with TMD in a Thai patient population using a novel articulation classification. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 872 participants (684 TMD, 188 non-TMD) was conducted. Data included demographic characteristics, postural and habitual behaviors, occlusal morphology, articulation classification, articulation ratios, mandibular range of motion, and TMD diagnostic categories. Materials and Method: Eighty extracted human premolars were used for the shade‑matching evaluation. The materials tested in this study were Omnichroma (OC), Vittra APS Unique (VU), Charisma Diamond One (CD), and Filtek Z350 XT (FZ, control). The initial tooth shade was determined using a dental spectrophotometer and the reference color parameters (L, C, and H) were recorded with a laboratory spectrophotometer. Background Doxorubicin (DOX) is widely used in cancer therapy, but its role in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC)is limited by resistance and dose-related toxicities. Ivermectin (IVM), an antiparasitic agent with emerging anticancer properties, may enhance DOX efficacy. This study evaluated the effects of IVM alone and in combination with DOX on OSCC cell lines.

Background The current investigation aimed to assess the prevalence of xerostomia, its relation to risk factors, and its impact on the quality of life among a sample of the Egyptian population.

Methods This cross‑sectional study collected data on the occurrence of xerostomia and risk factors from 1220subjects in several Egyptian governorates, including sex, age, smoking, systemic illness, and medications. Subjective and objective dry mouth scores, taste disturbances, burning sensations, and their impact on quality of life were assessed.
