The dental workforce comprises a variety of professions, most of which are predominantly occupied by women. Dental workers can be exposed to numerous toxic chemicals such as mercury, methacrylate polymers, and silica. This scoping review aims to synthesize the scientific literature on quantified chemical exposures and to identify research gaps in occupational chemical hazards faced by dental professionals. This review followed the Joanna Briggs Institute approach and PRISMA-ScR guidelines, using three concepts to search PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science: workers, dental care, and chemicals. Context: The university constitutes a demanding and competitive learning environment which can impact the well-being of students. The objective of this survey is to assess the burnout of students at the faculty of dentistry.

Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted via an anonymous questionnaire with 3 sections: socio-demographic data, lifestyle and habit, and burnout through the Maslach burnout inventory-student survey (MBI-SS) . Continuous variables were presented as means and standard deviations,categorical variables as numbers and percentages. Objective: The fibula free flap (FFF) remains the workhorse flap for head and neck defects necessitating osteocutaneous reconstruction. Although lower extremity angiography, ultrasound (US), and other vascular studies are routinely used for fibula assessment and patient selection, predictors of donor-site morbidity following harvest remain poorly understood. We sought to investigate the factors associated with FFF donor-site complications.

Study design: Retrospective analysis of patients at a tertiary care center.
