This study aimed to determine the pharmacokinetic of SDF in 15 children who received SDF treatment. Urine samples were collected at baseline, and at first and second 24 hours after SDF treatment to determine silver and fluoride levels. The interactions between these microorganisms contribute to formation of polymicrobial communities on hard and soft tissues as well as on dentures and implants. Candida albicans, a pleomorphic fungus inhabiting oral and gastrointestinal (GIT) mucosa becomes pathogenic in favourable conditions causing local or systemic disease. Dental Pulp Stem Cells (DPSCs) are non-embryonic, mesenchymal stem cells that may have significant potential for therapeutic and regenerative biomedical applications. Studies of DPSC differentiation have demonstrated the potential to form many tissue types, including neural, osteogenic and vascular precursors using cytokines and growth factors, such as Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). Eight previously isolated Dental Pulp Stem Cell (DPSC) isolates were grown in culture and treated with VEGF to evaluate any effects on growth, viability or biomarker expression. The purpose of this study is to determine and compare the prevalence of oral mucosal lesions (OML) and related risk habits and the influence of these habits on oral mucosal lesion prevalence among dental outpatients in Malaysia and Yemen during the period from May to October 2009. A total of 554 and 520 dental outpatients from Malaysia and Yemen with mean ages of 41.9± 17.04 years and 36.6±15.62 years respectively were interviewed and examined.
