The present study is an online endeavour by the researchers to create a web directory to give a brief account of library and information science professionals working in different institutions in Tamilnadu. The researchers have chosen Wordpress – an open source blogging software and domain – to create an online directory of LIS professionals because of its simplicity and powerful features. The researchers who have a good understanding of Wordpress blogs, collected data about 50 LIS professionals working in universities and arts and science colleges of about 10 districts. The present study aimed at examining the quantitative and qualitative aspects of literature output on Wireless Communication as available and indexed in Web of Science database covering a nine year period i.e from 2010 to 2018. A total of 8482 records were downloaded from Web of Science core collection database. The downloaded records, in txt format, were exported to Bibexcel software for analyzing the data for certain quantitative and qualitative indicators. Some OIC countries have been growing rapidly in terms of international scientific publication.The purpose of this study was to determine the number of highly cited papers, the scholarly impact, H-index, Y-index, and the status of scientific collaboration among Islamic countries in medical fields. The research population included the highly cited papers in medical subject fields of all Islamic countries based on ESI. The study investigate the citation pattern of undergraduate projects in a private university, Nigeria. Bibliometric method was adopted for the study to analyze the information sources cited in the research projects. The coverage of the study was from 2015 to 2018 set of graduates. Findings revealed that Animal Science programme accounted for the highest citations, while Agricultural Economics had the lowest citations. It was also discovered that an average of 49 citations per project were recorded. Journal articles and books were the most cited materials. The paper concluded and made recommendations.

The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of academic disciplines on the use of library-based online resources for learning activities by undergraduates in the University of Ibadan.
The paper adopted the quantitative research method. Stratified random sampling technique was adopted in selecting the undergraduate students from each faculty and department with the sampling fraction of 2.5%. The sample size for the study is 303 undergraduates of University of Ibadan. Purpose: The present study investigates the differences between faculty and research scholars in terms of e-resource use, methods of use, purpose, hindrances faced and search strategies.
Methodology: The study was conducted in five universities of North India using survey method. Stratified random sampling was used for selection of the samples and the final data consisted of 668 respondents including 252 faculty members and 416 research scholars.
