The study assessed the forms, benefits, and extent of academic libraries' reliance on resource sharing. The study consisted of 66 respondents of which four (4) were library directors while sixty-two (62) were library staff. Library directors were purposely sampled while simple random sampling was used to select library staff for inclusion in this study. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. This unique experience influence students’ future decisions about what and how they use information resources. The study analyzed 72940 papers indexed by Scopus and published by six Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IIT Roorkee) during the period 2006-2015, which indicates that 72940 papers received 572583 citations in all during the period 2006-2015 in an average rate of citation per paper for six IITs is 7.85. This paper presents a bibliometric study of the LITTCRIT – An Indian Response to Literature journal for the period from 2011 to 2015 (five years). The purpose of the study is to give a gist of research output in the journal and the content of the coverage in it.
