Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to know the user’s satisfaction level of law college libraries of Assam, India.

Methodology: Survey method was used to collect the necessary information from the users of law college libraries of Assam. A total 900 questionnaires were distributed among the students and 600 questionnaires were accepted for analysis.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the educational institutions in India suddenly switched to online mode of teaching. This new learning mode gives the flexibility to connect at any time from any place. This sudden shift has impacted the learning behaviour of students to a large extent, which is studied and analysed in this paper for a computer programming course. The primary aim of this study is to create a promotional strategy plan based on the usage of resources and services. Survey questionnaire was used to gather data from a stratified sample of 372 students and 98 faculty members. Only 64 faculty members returned their questionnaires. The study employs independent sample t-test, ANOVA (f-test) and Mann Whitney (U-test) to test the operational hypothesis. Upon analyzing the demographic profiles, it was noted that the students were frequent visitors of the library while the faculty have minimal visits.

Aim: The present study aims is to evaluate the research productivity of Pakistani Library Information Science (LIS) authors produced during the year 2019.

Methodology: The retrospective study technique was used to extract the dataset on LIS literature produced by Pakistani authors, from different online and print sources. The bibliographic information was inserted in Microsoft Excel-2016 for data analysis. The findings of the data have been presented in 3 tables and 2 figures.

The internet has become the fountain of information access for senior high school students and academics. Poor telecommunication infrastructure, difficulties in accessing relevant information, inadequate computers, high cost of bundle, system failure, low internet bandwidth, power fluctuation are some challenges Senior High students find in their quest to access information on the internet. Purpose: This paper examines the global research performance on COVID 19 in Dimensions Database. Dimensions contains more than 100 million publications, ranging from articles published in scholarly journals, books and book chapters, to preprints and conference proceedings.

Methodology: The data were extracted from Dimensions Website (https://app.dimensions.ai/discover/publication). The word “Covid 19” has been used to retrieve the data as on 2nd December 2020. A total of 200852 records and 810426 citations received for the year 1871-2020.
