The purpose of the study was to explore the research trends of the documents, authors, countries’ share, and impacts created by studies in form of citation in a scholarly journal titled Library Management from 2013 to 2020. To meet the purpose, a bibliometric analysis of 369 documents published in the Library Management was done. The findings indicate that most of the documents published in the Library Management were articles. The overall average citation per document is 3.70. A comparative study was performed based on scientific metrics for the year 2019 for the top 100 open access journals (OAJ) extracted from the web of science. The considered bibliometric indicators are Journal Impact Factor (JIF), Eugene Factor Score (ES), Scimago Journal Ranking (SJR), Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP), Cite Score (CS), Google Scholar (GS), and H5 index. This study shows that journals have different ranks compared with their metrics of the various scientific indicators. The study explores the adoption of Koha ILMS in the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IITBBS). The particular study researcher adopted the survey method and questionnaire tool used for data collection. The finding of the study shows both institutes are using commercial software before adopting Koha. Since modern librarians are urged to acquire technological skills, thus objectives of this study are; 1) to examine whether or not the acquisition of such skills affects their generic job satisfaction (GJS) and; 2) to identify the training needs. To this end, twelve research hypotheses were formulated indicating the relationship of technology skills with GJS. The findings revealed significant effects of technology functional and professional skills on GJS and accordingly, all hypotheses (H₁-H₁₂) are supported.
