CD123, the α chain of the interleukin 3 receptor, is a cytokine receptor that is overexpressed in multiple hematolymphoid neoplasms, including acute myeloid leukemia, blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, hairy cell leukemia, and systemic mastocytosis. Importantly, CD123 expression is upregulated in leukemic stem cells relative to non-neoplastic hematopoietic stem cells, which makes it a useful diagnostic and therapeutic biomarker in hematologic malignancies. Varying levels of evidence have shown that CD123-targeted therapy represents a promising therapeutic approach in several cancers. In this review, we focus on what is known about IAV dynamics in less common avian species that may play a role in trafficking IAVs to poultry operations. Purpose: While mammography has excellent sensitivity for the detection of breast lesions, its specificity is limited. Adjunct screening with ultrasound may partially alleviate this issue, but also increases false positives, resulting in unnecessary biopsies. This study investigated the use of Google AutoML Vision (Mountain View, CA), a commercially available machine learning service, to both identify and characterize indeterminate breast lesions on ultrasound.

Purpose: This study sought to identify patterns of self-reported regret after hysterectomy.

Methods: Women undergoing hysterectomy for a benign indication were recruited in the 2 weeks prior to surgery. Women reported demographics and completed validated questionnaires (Decisional Regret Scale, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Decisional Conflict Scale, and the Comprehensive Score for Financial Toxicity) up to 7 times over the first year postsurgery. Medical records were reviewed for clinical and operative details. Latent class growth mixture models were applied to the repeated regret scores to identify patterns after hysterectomy.
